A tale of woe and a thanks to the few

Things going wrong, starting to get down,
Can’t stop this face from starting to frown,
People, places, things to say,
Cause there are always things in the way.

You do, say the right thing,
But things don’t stop in this eternal ring.
Requests for help, access denied,
Wow, STOP, Head is fried.

You see it coming, clearly now,
The end seems close somehow,
Then you trip, you stumble,
Still never grumble…..

Next day is the same as the last,
Get up, get dressed get going again,
When you think you turn a corner,
No one ever explains.

Through all the worries, the stress, the strife,
Comes a place that gives you new life,
Meet strangers, talk, laugh and learn,
There is no idea for what you yearn.

That brings you to light, away from the dark,
@Hales17 and her stories, there great, there ream,
More talent than I’ve ever seen.

@Bela and @Liliputian1 with their perspectives,
And humour they are rarely wrong,
With great ideas and viewpoints,
That are as sharp as a prong.

@CJKO full of colour and zest for life,
She makes things, makes comments that bring joy to this life.
For this Angel of the East,
Will make someone a good wife.

This is my poem of woe,
But it seems these things won’t go,
And thanks to the users or TWS,
That reduce the worry, the pain, the stress.

@Mr_Peanut i don’t have enough friends

I just look around myself and see how foolish people are to call each other friends but then flee when needed.

I see so many lives wasted due to drug addiction, smoking, bunking classes, etc. all thanks to peer pressure from friends. But when they suffer in life and face the consequences, these so-called ‘friends’ laugh and mock behind them, even often on their face.

Not having friends is not stressful if you look at reality.

@giant-panda Were you betrayed in the past by your friends? That bitterness is running down through your genes. That's hard to remove. Unless you change your perspective in life.

@cjko i don’t have much friends and @Mr_Peanut think that i was missing a big part of my life, I have news for you both: you are in an illusion…there are no friends. Everyone has their own life, own struggles for surviving in this world, their own delusions.

This is a struggle for survival, no matter how civilized this world seems to be.

All your friends are fake if they ditch you at times when you need them the most.

They are not friends rather they are "friend-users".

You can't achieve greatness alone. You need others to support you. So I will volunteer to become your "real" friend. haha.

Well Mr Wonderful Panda, you may of had suffering and betrayal from friends and maybe family, but you are talking to someone that is a master of his own time. I have spent many a time one my own, pondering my own thoughts, playing games ment to share as a solo thing.....
I was like it as a child and I have spent many years as an adult in the same situation..... I love my individuality and singular life. I cherish the life I have had past, present and future.
It does not bother me to continue the hermit life, as per your specification, It does not bother me to have friends, real or otherwise....

But when you do come across people that give you a little of themselves, some of their time and effort... it is one of the greatest gift's you can receive... It's good and means plenty from those close to you, but it means far more and often more genuine when it comes from strangers that take you on face value... treat you like any human deserves to be.
So I am grateful for the chance to meet these people new, that from this thread alone (genuine or not) clearly supportive of each others thought's and feelings...
I hope one day for your sake you manage to find the same.... :)

@cjko & @Mr_Peanut First of all, you might want to define what a ‘real friend’ is to you. When you do that, try to be such a person to other people.

I lacked ‘real friends’ at a time because I had a romanticized ideal of a friendship. Then, I had some emotional issues I thought a ‘real friendship’ would cure. How wrong I was!

Friends or not , people can warm you in your darkest of hour's , the lowest of moods
I feel for you that you have been wrong so bad that you seem to feel the way you do about this so called life that we all struggle with each and every day...

“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.”

You should not get stressed about not having friends, because there are other things in life that matter much more than this. People will attach to you according their convenience ( exceptions excluded) and leave you according to their wish. Why do you want to waste your energy on something which may not even matter after 4–5 years.
