@Liliputian1 how would you compare Quora with TWS? What are the good and bad points of TWS. Should we focus in becoming like Quota or we r good as we are?

The ring is so-called because prior to the enclosure of the space by ropes, fighters, e.g. wrestlers or boxers, were surrounded by a 'ring' of spectators.

it's like, why pizza comes in square boxes .. hahhaha
Pizza comes in square boxes cause it’s easier and more cost effective to do so lol :P
-
@liliputian1 It's due to first "organized" fights. People were boxing since ancient times xd. Back then there was a circle around them, but when London Rules got implemented they brought specific rules and one of them implies that boxing square should still be called ring to pay homage to the ancestors and first fighters. Something like that.

@liliputian1 It got brought with London Rules, 4 corners, dimensions and etc. Didn't get your question by reading it once.

Thank you mr, that was an interesting read. I had heard some of it before ( the bare fist, anything goes style ). But not about the ring itself.
