# Is there a difference between Intelligence and Knowledge?

• Intellegence is knowing tomato is a fruit. Knowledge is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad

• Knowledge Intelligence
Knowledge is the acceptance of facts. Intelligence is implementation of those facts wisely and perfectly.
Knowledge tells about a situation and problem and how it is happened. Intelligence is associated with achieving the possible outcomes from the situation.
Knowledge is what we already know. Intelligence is the proper implementation of the acquired knowledge.
Knowledge is the vehicle. Intelligence is the fuel that drives it.

• @batman Two people finish a given task, Person 1 takes 2 min, Person 2 takes 2 hours. What can we comment their individual intelligence?

``````If A and B are given the same task,
and B is delayed because of his inability to figure out a proper
or a faster solution to the task,
then we can infer that A is more intelligent than B.
However if B was delayed due to his laziness,
then we can definitely infer that B is a douche.``````
• @batman I was just wondering because in your first reply, there was no mention of time.
Off on a tangent, do you think given two people can we ever say 'A is more intelligent than B' or is it task specific?
``````Its not about the time,
but about efficient use of knowledge
and tools available to him.
If a person is unable to complete a certain task,
in an efficient manner,
questions can be raised about his Intelligence.``````

• @batman
That is good.
But actually, you need to change the header lol.

# Absolutely

# You are an intellectual.

• @batman Two people finish a given task, Person 1 takes 2 min, Person 2 takes 2 hours. What can we comment their individual intelligence?

• While solving an MCQ,

Knowing the right option is Knowledge.
Eliminating all other options except the right one and hence , marking the left one is Intelligence.

Knowledge is knowing your struggle is hard.
Intelligence is keep fighting because you know destiny is waiting.

Knowledge is knowing the truth.
Intelligence is keeping it up to you till the right time.

Mathematician: I use formulae and axioms. It is my knowledge. But, I can’t solve problem until intelligence comes into play.

Player: I start to play the game due to my knowledge. I win the game due to my intelligence.

• @naveen067 I think you are considering only one sort of intelligence,
Cognitive intelligence.
As for your second example, I think it is more grit than intelligence.
And the third one is I believe conning.
But I also think that although Knowledge and Intelligence are different, they aren't mutually exclusive.

• Intelligence is the capacity for knowledge. Knowledge is the utilization of that capacity to accumulate anything and everything to grow and survive.

• Wisdom conquers all the above. It's also the hardest to come by. It's the ability to utilize both knowledge and intelligence to get the expected results without any bs
