Friends- never shut them out

What is a friend? A friend is someone who’s always there for you. Someone who would do anything for you to help you out. Someone who can make you laugh when your sad and pick you up when you’re down. And sometimes those friends become more like family than friends and everyone could use more friends like that.
Sometimes when your feeling down and you need to talk to someone you can’t find the words to say. You don’t want to drag others down with you. At least in my personal situation it’s what I always resort to. I don’t mean to, I never try to hurt friends by shutting them out. It’s just what I do.
Take it from me it’s not worth it to shut friends out. They don’t want to be left out, they want to help you just like you would for them.
So never cut friends out of your struggles. Open up and don’t be afraid to ask for help. It doesn’t make you weak for needing help, it makes you strong for having the courage to.
I’ve been through a lot lately and I’ve shut a lot of people out and lost some good friends because of it. So to anyone who has been hurt by me shutting them out I apologize. And just know how much I appreciate you all.`Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind`

@football_m29 the best friends are the ones who understand what depression can do, or other mental disorders. It's all about understanding and who can accept what. The best friends don't let little tiffs get in the way over an actual friendship, and can understand if you're upset from time to time over such negative lows, and know those aren't really you, just your brain fucking with you.
