Advice for Introvert on how to talk with strangers and friends.

Iβm sure there are indeed many people from both the section Introverts and Extroverts.
i.e., many Introverts want to know how to have or start a smooth conversation with a stranger or even a friend.
As well as many extroverts are experts in this field and can drop their perspective on this topic.

@404ERROR Talk about stuff you like and ask the person about their interests. Music, movies, series, books, sports are all easy topics to talk about.

@Janet True, but you can't talk about this stuff if you have a conversation with a person daily.
And personally, for me, the ending is the hardest part, how to end an ongoing conversation with ease and smoothly. -
@404ERROR well conversations usually end with one person having to leave to go do other things. Just be honest. and why cant you talk about interests daily? I talk to my friends about all sorts of things every day!

I normally, like to sit and listen, to see how the groove of the conversation is going, and then join in. I don't like the rock the boat or make anyone feel uncomfortable. I noticed from Voice Chat, so many new users are too straight foward to a point of being rude. "how old are you, where you from, what do you do?" Really? They prolly next will want your SS, Credit card number and your Bloodtype. I wonder if they think this is socializing, or a interrogation?

@Janet HOW can we talk about our intrests on a daily basis, At one point of time list of intrests is gonna be over.

@Janet I always talk to Janet of interest.. hehe. .she is very very interesting person too, I enjoy her company. I think, everyone is different, and we gotta respect that difference, makes the world go around and around.

@404ERROR idk i talk about my day, what I learned or might think about. Stuff just comes to mind naturally. Talk about experiences and dreams as well.

@AXES ya right, whenever i do TWS chat first thing they ask as we enter is, Gender, Age, Name, Nationality. They are pretty direct.

and generally thats the start of a boring conversation. Its like filling out a dating application and lots of people just wanna chat haha

@404ERROR it is really sad, that, some people look at TWS only as a meat market. Sad thing is, how you really know anything about someone, besides, they are text? It is a reflection of our society, and how we use tech. I heard Janet say something with so much wisdom, she said something like, we have now the tech and internet to better ourselves. She is right, we so do, but we still live in ignorance.. wise world from a wise person, she is.

Unpopular opinion but I think chatting sites actually make you more introverted. You kind of get addicted to it, meet people online and talk with them and slowly your whole life revolves around those online friends. You stop going out, stop meeting new people at social events and that slowly impacts your communication skills.
While chatting sites like these are fun, they, like everything else, should be only used within limits. Your real life is what matters the most. Unless you go out with friends, go to events, and meet people offline, you are never going to improve your conversational skills. Go to the grocery store, and pick up a small talk with the cashier. Ask how the day was for the taxi driver when returning home. Appreciate the dog and pick-up a small talk about pets with the random person on the street walking their dog. Small steps like these prove to be droplets of water in the ocean towards your ultimate goal of improving conversation skills, both offline and online.

@Aira I think Iβm best at writing. Remember your online friends are at the end of the day real friends. They are people. It doesnβt matter if you ever see them. They can still be there for you.

I recommend coming to this site with a plan. Itβs easier to get people involved if you have something to offer.

@Kyle-Norwood No that's not true. People you meet here, very rarely would actually end up being real life friends. If it has happened for you, you are lucky :)
