I’ve joined the LGBTQ+ community...🏳️‍🌈

  • I’ve joined the LGBTQ+ community because I have a serious crush on my best friend. We have been friends for 6 years but every time I see her on Zoom I smile, she is a lovely person and so gorgeous. I actually love her now and I’m not sure whether I’m bisexual or pansexual...what is the difference?

The only thing is I cannot tell her until Tuesday but I don’t want to for 2 reasons:

    1. I feel too shy.

    2. Our families look down on LGBTQ+ because we are Christians and they believe you need to do what Adam and Eve did, be with the opposite gender.

    Somebody help me!

  • Somebody help

  • I’m pansexual

    No need to worry.
I think most women are potentially bisexual/lesbian and they are very prone to becoming bisexual.

Being paraphilic doesn't necessarily mean that you have to act paraphilic.

    • Do not watch porn(specially porn that involves any paraphilia like homosexuality, bestiality etc).

    • Remember that having sex is overrated. You can be in a relationship with only a guy also and be happy.

    • Try to avoid any thoughts regarding deviant and non-functioning sexual practices. You can practise "mindfulness" regularly to have higher control of your mind:
    • Close your eyes
    • Breathe normally
    • Focus completely on the feelings of your breathing
    • Count the complete breaths
    • If your mind wanders, bring it back to the feelings of your breathing
    • Continue

Researches show that this practice can significantly improve well-being,cognition and reduce negative emotions, depression. Brain-scans reveal that mindfulness reduce the activity of the right side of Amygdala(a part of brain),which is responsible for processing negative emotions and also decrease its size. Even only 10 minutes of mindfulness will can have a great impact.

  • @Masih Thanks a lot for the long, detailed message. I’m sorry I wasn’t clear but I don’t want to change, this is who I am now and the new me is here to stay. I’m pansexual now and proud of it.

  • @CocoLillian Most women are probably (potentially) bisexual/similar. You might be very wrong to think that bisexual women are in the minority whereas they might be the vast majority i.e. most women are very prone to becoming sexually deviant

  • @Masih I’m not a woman anyway I am 13 lol

  • @CocoLillian By woman, i meant "female"

  • @Masih Yeah yeah ok
