Criminal Case: What should the judge do?
-
After 15yrs of work in charity works, financial aid and American Dream life a woman is found guilty with proofs of many crimes she committed with a certain dude before her "perfect" life began.
The following are the crimes she committed with her partner at the time over a period of 5yrs-
Real Estate scam and fraud
-
Child Abuse, rapping, prostitution, serial killing and human trafficking
-
Distribution of illegal substances
-
Adultery and Marriage Fraud
The justice system spent 15years to bring justice to these unsolved cases and finally they have found tangible proofs and the one guilty of those crimes, but she's is now a good person and has done many good things over the yrs.
You're the judge and she's brought before you how would you judge her?
PS: Her partner died in a plane crash 3yrs after they criminal life.
[poll title="Say why you think she's guilty and needs a sentence"]- Guilty and sentenced

Guilty just bc she did good doesn't change the wrong she did

So you think she needs to be sentenced?
If Yes, for how long?
-
@Kaneki-kun yes for at least 10-15 years

@010604-Aj #nohomo but mind if we Dm?

@Kaneki-kun sure my pms are open

Well the American system is more about deterrence than justice. It’s not about whether or not the person deserves the crime; it’s more a warning to anybody else committing the crime that they will be caught.
-
@Nia-Rox so guilty or not guilty?
-
@Kaneki-kun Duh guilty. Commit the crime, do the time
-
guilty, anyone in my opinion that gets on the level of rape and child abuse should either do life OR get the needle/chair. Its just as bad, if not worse then murder..it affects someones entire life, something that they will be forced bare from someone else's careless mistakes.

@Gorlwithanime 🤔 Hmu let's talk?
-
I agree that she's guilty, maybe she had changed and redeemed herself for what she has done, But nothing will fix the
permanent damage she caused in other people's lives, nor families or companies that were, somehow, involved, will ever forget and forgive such crimes (such as Child Abuse, rapping, prostitution, serial killing, human trafficking, etc.) -
@davitchen understandable bro. Mind if we Dm?
-
@Kaneki-kun Nope, that's fine
-
@AllAboutGay yeaaah that's not a bad idea check out the gay paintings and this

For one it depends on wether she's still profitting from her crimes. If she's done good with what she illegally obtained and nothing remains - talking in money terms - then she still has to make it up to the people in some way, from whom she stole. That now depends on her financial status, it should be adequate.
There is a reason though, that certain crimes are time-barred (or whatever the correct term is). People do change over long periods of time. So for the following, she will not have to face a sentence: Real Estate scam and fraud, Distribution of illegal substances, Adultery and Marriage Fraud, except of course as said in the beginning, if she is still profitting from it financially.
Second of course, for the more heinous crimes (human traficking, rape, child abuse, serial killing), she'll have to serve some sentence, for the lives she ruined. A nice penalty would be to be required to help people in similar situations now (victims of the same crimes).
And last but not list, what's so bad about a rapper? :yum:
