  • @wtfjudith said in What’s your favourite smell? 👃:

It’s late and @sup and I seem to be the only posters online so I decided to make a topic that isn’t about noods for once cause I’m bored!

Personally I have a load of favourite smells, I really feel like our olfactory organ is underrated tbh. So here’s my top 5. (Not in order)

    1. Freshly cut grass 🌱
A classic, I know, but to me it’s the smell of summer and I love it

    2. The smell of pavement during rain ☔️
I don’t know how to describe it, but surely you know what I mean. It’s just so refreshing

    3. Pine 🌲
To me it’s such an undervalued smell. Like you see so many vanilla or peppermint candles and perfume, but not enough of pine fragrance!
Please somebody make a pine shampoo, thank you

    4. Lavender 🌸
Another classic, but honestly who doesn’t like the smell of lavender???

    5. Manure 💩
Yeah you read that correctly. Manure, or in other words, shit. No I don’t enjoy the smell per say, but more the memories that go along with it of time in the countryside when I was a kid. It makes me feel nostalgic and happy.

So that’s my list, share yours!

    1. That smell after thunderstorm / during&after rainstorm.
    2. Smell of coffee (i don't drink coffee, i just like the smell.) -childhood smell-
    3. Pine / Pine Tree, the purest smell of nature.
    4. Sea (coast), when you arrive back home from inland, you get
close to home (i live at coast next to a sea) that smell is like heaven.
    5. Gas Station, every summer when i was a kid we went to a road trip
cross the country, to meet family (close and distant) and seeing the nature
and all what not. So, we took a lot of stops to the gas stations (and diners)
so that smell of a gas station brings me back to the happy moments of my childhood
      -childhood smell-
