It's metaphorical and ironic. Like the name Devil, signals evil while the title "Sir" is given to a noble Knight. So, when they are put together, it means that a Devil who was once evil, turned good and did good things, thereby gaining the title of "Sir". It is encapsulated by the quote in my bio,
"What is better - to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?"

It is metaphorical because it is a metaphor for my life, which is a long story.

So back in 2012 I made a club penguin account. I spent many nights, tossing and turning to find the right name. I loved mushrooms at the time and thought that I would want a Ph.D. so I came up with Dr. Toadstool. I later shortened it to DrToadstool. I used this username everywhere but I soon realized how gross it was. It's too long to say in normal conversation so ppl would end up saying either Docter, Toad, or DrT all which were kind of gross in my opinion. I needed a shorter version of my name so I made it slurmpydrt then slurmpydirt then finally Dirt. Sometimes Dirt is already taken so I'll change it to DirtGO, DirtOG or any number of slight modifications.
