What do you think of the idea of muting people in public chat?

Some people were talking about having that feature, but I actually would be against it. Simply because its public chat and it pretty much hurts to be muted lol.

Whats your opinion on this feature?

@girlnextdoor Hold up, what if someone is telling you to kill yourself or being spiteful, or what if someone is spamming walls of text, wouldn't it make sense to have a mute function? And you'd only be muting for yourself, you wouldn't be muting that person for other people, they can decide for themselves if they want to see another person's douchebaggery.

I absolutely think it is a good idea. The only person who's experience it affects is the person who chose to mute. From a technical standpoint though, then the feed coming out from the servers would be different for different users, and I don't know how doable that is.
