I am in depression from last 4 years . I am 22 now. I don't know when I am going to be ok. But I am not gonna lose this fight. I will not fucking going to do suicide. But this depression sucks. I am a fucking dead body now. Does anybody here know this pain?

Accept whatever happened with you whole heartedness.. try to start doing something a little by little.. be it work or some hobby like gardening, arts etc..

i dont know what you're going through, or why you're asking this, but i've asked myself that a lot, especially recently, and imma give you a straight up answer to the real question you're asking me:
you're gonna hear this a lot when you ask that, but i promise to you, i swear to you, you're gonna make it. you're gonna get through whatever it is you're going through. but looking up and asking that is giving into the death inside of you. look it in the face. tell it to piss off. and no, it ain't gonna just run away from you right there and leave you alone, but you gotta fight. every day. because in each person's life comes a time when you have to choose. choose between fighting and becoming something stronger, something more or giving in. discipline yourself, and i promise, i promise, and again, i promise, it'll be ok.

@Indrid-Cold In perfect agreement. Sessions, therapy and helplines are the poster face of depression and suicide these days. Are they effective? I really don't know, I didn't ever have a reason to opt for either. But I am pretty sure that if people are willing to change, to listen, and to support others better, we would be seeing less deaths and more blossoming and productive lives. And this applies to all age groups.
Indeed it falls as an obvious realization that it the duty is bestowed unsto humanity, to make sure that it doesn't get strangled by its own menacing and untrustworthy hands. We have to make the change. And this, before its too late to change anything.

@livingisoverated Hey! i need some advice,my parents are very strict with what i wear and want to know if its normal or toxic? Heres a list.
Im not allowed to straighten my hair
Im not allowed to wear makeup
Im not allowed to wear" tight shirts" meaning every shirt i wear has to go past my knees.
Im rarely allowed to wear pants and if i do they have to be sweats or flowy pants. No jeans
Im not allowed to wear shorts AT ALL unless its for P.E.
I have to wear a baggy oversized T-shirt over my swimsuits
im not allowed to wear high heels.
im not allowed to wear leggings in public unless im working out of something

Their are solo many more restrictions but was just wondering if these were just way to much and is my parents may be toxic. I desperately need advice. My friends tell me its toxic. I don't see it as being a big deal but do I just really need advice. They also say that this is to protect from men with bad intentions
and to prevent men from looking at me in a sexual manner.
