What's the biggest challenge you have overcome?
-
I am interested in the challenges people have overcome in their life (or may currently be facing). How did you overcome them? I can't disclose my biggest challenge but I would love to hear what other people of all ages had to overcome.
-
I read tags, and there was actually no big challenge for me, because I've always been letting life carry me, and I'm always safe, even if I take risks. Well there was one challenge, but I wouldn't call it a big one, it was my chemistry exam, that exam was the hardest exam in my school. No joke, anyone who had chemistry always said that that exam was the hardest.

@Janet Telling my Mum that I drank all her KFC Fanta at age 8 because I was sooo thirsty...

@Janet A few years ago they harassed me, all that time I thought and tried several times to commit suicide. Since then it has been a challenge to work on my self-love and how I relate to other people. Over time it has been easier but sometimes I have relapses. The only thing that keeps me strong is knowing that everything will pass (:)
-
@ĞÖÖŠÍÄĤ Hey that is a challenge for sure. Good job, I assume you passed lol. Also yay you read tags but I already kinda knew that cause ya know.. you are a guy.
-
@Janet there are a lot of short term challenges that you have to improvise you know, once upon the time when i was 17 yo i got lost in the middle of the western desert in upper egypt with two kids, 2 bottles of water and no signal. it was hilarious that i supposed to be the adult and do something. i pulled the kids and walked to god knows where
i thought if i pretended that i know what i do the kids won't panic. i used my mind while walking to nowhere. fortunately it was 8 am and i could recognize the north i kept going through the river direction and i contact the camp. if you mean the long term challenges, it's boring and i doubt that i will never overcome.

Holy shit that is an epic story! Wow you really dealt with that situation really well and did pretty much what I would have done. Well done! Not many people will ever be able to say they went through that ordeal.

@Janet thank you for bringing it back to my memory.

That is adorable. I used to hide my moms cigarettes from her and she would get sooo mad at me
-
@choppitta Yes you are right. Tough thoughts and bullying will pass. Just remember those that harass you have huge issues in their lives so they have to hurt others to feel good about themselves. Pity them.
Stay strong!!!!!

@Janet life and its people

@Janet... My biggest challenge in life is living without my kids....yes I have every week for 2 nights but it will never be the same as always there
-
@Tony106 That is a tough place to be in. I admire you want to be there more. You are a great dad.
-
to appreesh the things i do have at the time. i was forced to be humble when i was about to be homeless. i sold my 1000 $ bose stereo just so i could eat that night. i learned what rock bottom is
-
My biggest. Challenge is my work
-
Learning to embrace adversity as this is counter intuitive. Adversity brings opportunity. One door closes and another opens. Lost my Dad early in life but raised by a pack of women to be a positive person!

I lost my Dad a few years ago. Sorry for your early loss
I am happy the women who raised you made you a great person today!

I’m sorry for you Janet. I lost my grandpa in 2017. I was really close to him. He helped me get through a shit ton of hardships. One of those including me being abused by my parents. It still hurts to this day
-
Sorry to hear of your loss.
I saw somewhere on here that parents are your best advocate. So true!
