take a deep breath and count 1 to however many you can without taking a breath. with a 1 sec pause in between numbers. supposedly this can measur elung capacity and strength. guess i must have COPD because i can only hit 40. 50 if im lucky!

Take a full breath; hold if for one second. Then, with your mouth open, blow out as hard and fast as you can. Your lungs should be completely emptied – meaning that you can blow no more air out even though you try– in no more than 4 to 6 seconds.
