@girlTx09 hii
Are intelligence and happiness tied together in any way? If you are highly intelligent, is it more likely that you’ll be more, or less happy?
-
@ragnar-lothbrok i didn't find a better opposite of "ignorance is bliss"... maybe "intelligence is burdensome" IDK. It's just more painful to be intelligent because you know how unfair the world is, how dangers lie at the corners, what goes on behind the curtains...
-
@ragnar-lothbrok intelligence is generally linked with less happiness
-
@alwaysstranger yah to some extent i can agree on u that intelligence is burdensome in a fact that the world aint fair, but not all intelligent peoples are treated that bad.

Yeh but that's not the only bad thing they're aware of
but not all intelligent peoples are treated that bad.
But they are aware of how abd why it is unfair to other ppl
-
@alwaysstranger what category do u put yo self? Intelligent and happy? Intelligent but sad? , ignorant but happy? Ignorant and sad? Just asking XD
-
@ragnar-lothbrok IDK
-
@ragnar-lothbrok probably intelligent and sad, but I'm using my 127 IQ to get my shit together and be happy and doing good again
-
@ragnar-lothbrok goodnight
-
kinda...
nd ure right with that, some are happy nd crazy 😊 -
Generally intelligence brings sadness. You have issues that a rare portion of people may have. You think in different ways, and trying to converse with the majority of others is a burden. You are aware of the negatives, and what is right and wrong. Ignorant people may not know what is wrong, and they may do it. So you have to deal with everyone doing something wrong while you get completely annoyed by it.
-
@veitak Though, despite that, I am a happy person because I think highly of myself and I enjoy what I fulfill what I want to do, for the most part.
-
I was reading about Night-Owls vs Larks and apparently Night owls tend to be more intelligent, but less happy and less motivated. Apparently a lot of Emergency Room workers are night owls so that makes sense!
-
@veitak then i take that as you are intelligent and happy?
-
@ragnar-lothbrok it's generally accepted that intelligence is directly proportional to sadness. That could be of varied reasons.
For example, I am good with reading emotions. I almost have 85% accuracy in reading their thoughts/emotions through subtle hints on their face. It cause sadness sometimes to me by learning their thoughts when I interact with them.
-
@sir-devil i might agree with you but i also met intelligent person who is just happy and crazy.
-
@ragnar-lothbrok they may be go at hiding their emotions or they might not care about things that cause sadness. Everybody's different, right?
It's just that sadness is a common trait in intelligent people. It doesn't always needs to true.
-
@ragnar-lothbrok don't know about happiness but intelligence and pride are definitely tied together :(
-
@cutie-cat that makes sense tho cutie
-
If you are talking about plain IQ sadness is more likely, but with a good EQ accompanying that IQ you'll be the happiest person in the world.
-
@lucifer_ pretty good answer. It's generally accepted that a high EQ is better than a high IQ
