Being alone in a crowd. It would be even worse if everyone around me is in a group of more than three.

First of all, I have to apologize to you. I was a bit confused when you talked about your daughter and also that you were 19 years old, the same as me. I never thought about talking to you about it. I just shrugged it off. I thought that would have been inappropriate but I do regret it. But anyway, now that I have heard your story, although my regret was deepened, that feeling is completely overwhelmed by my admiration for you.

Although you had a great tragedy in your life, you never stopped. It didn't encumber you. You triumphed over it. You kept moving forward. The strength you displayed seems to be something I could never attain. The thing I suffered in my life is insignificant when compared to yours. Yet, I let it completely change me. I became a psychotic loner. Yet, you seemed happy in spite of all you went through. Were you really happy? If yes, how?

I now want to say a few words. Don't hold back. Don't try to always please others in pm. Don't hesitate. You don't need to keep everyone happy. You should think about yourself more. Share your opinion. Insult others. Express your feelings. Remember, One must save oneself before he could save others. You don't need to limit yourself not giving a shit just for today. You don't need to give a shit, ever.

You are strong. You endured through your despairs. You will survive the rest of your life but I just wanted to say that you will live your life a bit happier if you share your feeling more. If you have already found someone to share those, I would be happy.

My Sis is pretty fun. We never fight though she beats me up pretty often. I won't be able to do anything because she is 6 years younger than me and I don't want to hurt her. So, I take revenge by either stealing her food or buying it without her share; Only to get more beating. Since she is still little, I would usually shrug off she beat me and I actually find that cute. Anyway, she's the best.

When I was little, I wanted to create Video Games. Then, I wanted to be a Black Market Information Broker and then, I became greedy and wanted to a Global Dictator. Of course, these two are mostly not probable.

So, if you ask me a dream job which is probable, I would say a Researcher. The field could be anything from Weapons Tech to Astronomy.

Firstly, My Internals are finally over and I'm free again. Well, I guess that's a reason to be happy, I guess? Anyway, I can be more active again.

Secondly, @JustHere asked a question today about our favorite youtuber that we grew up watching and I didn't remember the names so I tried to search for them, only to realize that I won't be able to ever find their names as YouTube doesn't show our YouTube history in the reverse order. I would never know the name of my first watched YouTube video for the rest of my life...

Is it "to-may-to" or "to-mah-to"? I have seen people argue over it. What do you think is right?

@kaycee The only solution is to ask him directly. You will never know the answer until you do it. There's not much use in worring about it. It would just make you feel worse and the longer you keep on worring, the harder it would be to accept the answer. If you ask him now, and if he says no, at least you will have a answer. It will give you at least some peace. It would be sad but it would get better. If he says yes, all the better.

Btw, saying that you wouldn't feel the thing you feel wih him with someone else, to say it bluntly, is pretty stupid. It's just that you haven't met a lot of peoples yet. I am saying this because I'm tired of seeing my friend who say this hypocritically at the start of every relationship.

The term "Anime" was used to refer exclusively the animated works made in Japan which in itself has a unique art style. Some of the features of that art style are big eyes to accentuate their facial and emotional expression, lower frame rate and static background. These days with more and more works like Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender, Netflix's Castlevania, and Rooster Teeth's RWBY being made in the same art style by companies based not in Japan, the word "Anime" is used to refer any works made in that same art style.

By the way, I need to say that not all cartoons are made for Children (Archer and Bojack Horseman) nor all Anime has a superior art (Shin-chan and Doraemon) (this is mostly due to them being made for Children; Most Children don't seek superior art and just want some laughs and gags). This is because of their art style and they both have their own pros and cons. One just needs to appreciate them both.

Damn, it sounds like I'm a creepo... with possibly a lot of sexual harassment cases and restraining orders...

It depends on many things. Their crime, their mental state, their country's eco-political conditions, and many such things.

Non-capital Punishments can be more torturous in some cases. Some people spend years in Isolation, which imo is more torturous that giving them a swift and peaceful end. It would also be worse in their mental state. Some people would want to a swift end and that's the reason the prison suicide rates are high and rising (Btw a large percentage of them happen after some sort of mental health service).

To put it shortly, Capital punishment is something very hard to justify but still, many view it as some sort of necessity so it's hard to remove it outright in many places. Their justification and necessity would also depend on one's morality too (Just throwing that out).

@evelyn-rose Then that good. Tell him to do nothing for now. Contact your ex and strongly reject him stating your current relationship while also mentioning the previous abuse and then, just ignore him after that.

If he goes too far after that, maybe get a restraining order against him.

Just be careful that abusive people usually also tend to manipulative. So, he might try to pull some things. If he does, do consider telling your boyfriend about this.

@emily I'm facing the end of my semester and hence, I have a lot of work to do and hence, I can't afford to spend my time on anything else and that's the reason I'm not active much these days.

@lonely_wolf There are a lot of aspects to this story; after all humans are complex creatures. There could be a lot of reasons behind your friend's doubts over his sexuality. There are things we don't even know like when he started questioning his sexuality. This is important as if he had these doubts long before, the incident with F would seem more like a sexual experiment. He might have the way he did because he could have been afraid of your reaction; after all, you were indeed mad after witnessing it. Another thing, we don't know is why he started this questioning. His secretive and silent nature wasn't helpful here. He could have had these doubts from the beginning but might have dismissed it and might have conformed his sexuality to the expectation of the society. These are things that are vital to know the reasoning behind his doubts. You need to ask him yourself.

A few more things to notice is that one could get these kinds at any stage of life and no matter what, he is your friend and he will be your friend no matter his sexual orientation. I can understand that your previous trauma has left you being not too open-minded and I believe, it has even made you a bit too overprotective of your friend. It's not too bad but you get the point. The only thing that I could not understand here is why do you think you would have to cut your ties with your friend if he turns out to be gay? You might have a reason behind it and I want to hear about it.
