Is the future a burden for you?
-
The future is now old man
-
@Jesssssss 'Old man' in the derogatory sense, or the English upper class Spitfire pilot sense?
-
pftt I don't care I just want to die
-
@Indrid-Cold English upper class spitfire pilot obviously

The ultimate goal of my life is to make my parents happy. And therefore, I follow the path they want me to follow. But my parents are considerate too, because they make the decisions I get stuck on, on the basis of my likes and dislikes. But nevertheless, the future I see in all its probability, it is indeed going to be a burden, with all the responsibilities. But since it will make my parents happy and proud, it will be worth it.

@JGadsden Yeah I think it’s a huge burden, from the near future such as waking up every day to go to school and doing things well to making sure I get good grades so I can do what I want in the long run. Such a burden - it impacts my thinking on a day to day basis and I really wish that I could cope with the pressure of society and my parents better. Wbu, what do you think?
-
@JGadsden
the pressure is real -
just trust the process
-
probably from both
-
@JGadsden the future os a burden coz i will still be trapped in the same mind. Rocket skates are something to look forwards to though, like the ones wile e coyote always has
-
@JGadsden, the Immediate future yes. the long term, not really. I'm blessed with a bad case of not giving a damn anymore. Now i just live. As long as I stay alive, I'm fine.
-
@Dudu_ I don´t think the burden is to wake up early everyday and have good grades, but the responsability to not fail. I also play competitive soccer in Brazil while studying at a hard university. Despite my routine being intense, I like it, but just the possibility to fail in not getting a pro contract or not having a good grade is the worst part
-
yes it does feel like a burden at this point in life especially because I'm in my late twenties and don't feel like I've accomplished enough. But I'm working on it.

The future only exists as a thought in the present, and when that "future" moment unfolds it only occurs in the present, when it "passes" you refer to a memory in the present moment and call that memory the "past"
-
@Belief how did you get -2 following 😅😂😂?
-
@JGadsden i do not have a hearts tbh
