I just want to go to like ... An isolated little town on the coast of like England where the waves crash against the cliff and send up a spray and it's always a little rainy and dreary and the green is so green with a dew and life and the houses are small and cozy and always smell like baked bread and tea and it's perpetually foggy outside and I can wear sweater forever and read a book by the fire place or out in the garden and it sort of just smells ancient and where everyone just mind there own business and life is good .once in a while I bike to the nearest village with a market and spend the day shopping around and may be I'll have a little dog who follows me everywhere and we just.......live

@sky1234 hey sky if that's what you want i would highly recommend Tintagel in Cornwall, i used to live there and it has everything you mention plus a ruined castle on the cliffs, breathtaking picture postcard scenery and buildings and is full of Arthurian legend, king Arthur is meant to have lived there if you believe in that sort of thing. You should google it. Are you from England?

I recommend Sharpness docks near Oldbury Power Station, looking out onto the Severn Estuary. The wee houses are relatively cheap because the nearby industrial sites are semi-closed, and it fits your criteria RE atmospherics. The nearest town, I think, is Thornbury and the bookshop is amazeballs. Sorted.
I'd move there myself 2morrow if I wasn't tried to my work and family commitments. :crying_face:
