Do you think ISLAM is a religion of terrorism ?
-
OH! NOT AT ALL, ISLAM is a only and one even true religion in this world! Some media are sending a fake and bad news for peoples.
See this

imho i don't think that islam is an inherently violent religion, however i do think that modern islam has a lot of introspection to do. there's a reason why many non-muslims are distrustful of highly pious muslims, and that reason is islamic extremism, terrible treatment of women and fundamentalism. again, i believe that 95% of muslims are peaceful people. imho it's the 5% that need to be dealt with, and the silent majority of peaceful muslims have to step up & correct their misbehaving

@sophieau23 BIG thanks

yes lmao

@MEMEO they know islam is a religion of peace, they just don't wanna convert, they are drunk by ego and pride.

Let me prove to you that islam is not a religion of peace:
Let me see you are able or not
Part 1. Violent verses:
"
Fight against those who do not obey Allah and do not believe in Allah or the Last Day and do not forbid what has been forbidden by Allah and His messenger even though they are of the People of the Book until they pay the Jizya With willing submissions and feel themselves subdued" surah 9 verse 29
“ O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise. Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.”(Quran 9:28-29)
This is from the 9th "chapter" of the quran which begins with:
“[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists. So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.
And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah . And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment. And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah . And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].”(Quran 9:1-4)I am not so sure whether the verse u mentioned is universal or not but it is logical to assume that the verse was applicable for only a particular period of time but further research is necessary...
Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe! (9:13)
Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers, (9:14)Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. (9:29)
But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper. (9:88)
Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah. then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. (9:111)
O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him. (9:123)Jizya tax was taken by various Muslim empires for example -ottoman and Mughal empires. There were four reasons for imposing this tax on non-mulsims-
- For their security
- For not converting to Islam
- For inclining to their own religions faith instead of Islam
- For punishing Dhimmis' unbelief
It was a source of Islamic revenue till 20th century and yes it was universal (Europe and Asia are proof of it)
ISIS and Pakistani Taliban have revived this tax again. So no this tax was not taken for a particular time.Under a treaty of surrender, the non-Muslim is given protection and called a dhimmi. This treaty necessarily provides for the surrender of the non-Muslims with all duties deriving from it, in particular the payment of tribute, i.e. the fixed polltax (jizya) and the land tax (kharaj).... The non-Muslims must wear distinctive clothing and must mark their houses, which must not be built higher than those of the Muslims, by distinctive signs; they must not ride horses or bear arms, and they must yield the way to Muslims; they must not scandalize the Muslims by openly performing their worship or their distinctive customs, such as drinking wine; they must not build new churches, synagogues, and hermitages; they must pay the polltax under humiliating conditions. It goes without saying that they are excluded from the specifically Muslim privileges.
Firuz Shah also bribed a vast number of Hindus into embracing Islam, by exempting those who converted from the jizya or polltax, which was otherwise rigorously enforced, even on the Brahmans.
Firuz Shah, when due allowance is made for his surroundings and education, could not have escaped from the theory and practice of religious intolerance. It was not possible for him to rise, as Akbar did, to the conception that the ruler of Hindustan should cherish all his subjects alike, whether Muslim or Hindu, and allow every man absolute freedom, not only of conscience but of public worship. The Muslims of the fourteenth century were still dominated by the ideas current in the early days of Islam, and were convinced that the tolerance of idolatry was a sin.
“They ask you about fighting during the sacred months. Tell them, fighting therein is a great sin but a greater sin is to prevent mankind from following the way of Allah, to disbelieve in him.” surah 2 verse 217
“They ask you about the sacred month - about fighting therein. Say, "Fighting therein is great [sin], but averting [people] from the way of Allah and disbelief in Him and [preventing access to] al-Masjid al-Haram and the expulsion of its people therefrom are greater [evil] in the sight of Allah . And fitnah is greater than killing." And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.”(quran 2:217)
this verse has nothing to do with violence and it doesn’t necessarily say to attackLet me give you violent verses before 2:217
But those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be companions of the Fire; they shall abide therein (2:39)
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. (2:190)
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. (2:191)
But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (2:192)
And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah. But if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression. (2:193)
Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. (2:216)
After 2:217-
Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things. (2:244)
Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). (2:257)I think you did never read Quranic words. Fitna has multiple meanings- to burn, to seduce, to allure ,to tempt etc. It is clearly written to fight them for allah until they do not get ceased. And 2:217 itself is saying about burning non-believers into fire. Other meanings could make sound but 2:217 is definitely used for burn.
“Kill them wherever you find them and drive them out from where they drove you out. Persecution is worse than slaughter.” Surah 2 verse 191
“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors. And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah . But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.”(Quran 2:190-193)
Again this verse was for a particular time period and not universal and it was against only those particular enemy soldiers/fighters.This verse has nothing to do with soldiers. It has the best to do with non-believers.
But those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be companions of the Fire; they shall abide therein (2:39)
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. (2:190)“When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks.” Surah 47 verse 4 (smite means cut, so this means that when you will meet the unbelievers, cut their necks)
“So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.”(Quran 47:4)
this is only against enemy soldiers in battle
more correct- against enemy soldiers who does not believe in allah. But this same rule does not attribute to soldiers who are believers.
“When your Lord revealed to the angels, ‘Truly I am with you. So, keep firm those who have believed. I will strike terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved. So, strike them at the necks and cut off their fingers.’” Surah 8 verse 12
“[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.”(quran 8:12)
this is just an instruction by the god only to angels and nothing to do with human violenceAn instruction which is used for terrorizing to non-believers. It later supported Muslims to terrorizing non-believers. Our history is the proof of it. These are words of Allah, who is monitorizing them 24/7.
“Oh you who believe, fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you and let them find harshness in you.” surah 9 verse 123
“It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.
And it is not for the believers to go forth [to battle] all at once. For there should separate from every division of them a group [remaining] to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious.
O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous.”(Quran 9:120-123)
again, according to previous verses, this verse was only for that particular period and not universal. So no need for disbelievers to worryI have written chapter 9th verses for you. Scroll up.
Statistics will give you more precise answer https://www.politicalislam.com/tears-of-jihad/“Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. Those who follow Him are merciful to one another but harsh to the disbeliever.” Surah 48 verse 29
“Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].”(Quran 48:27)
“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.”(Quran 48:28)
I am really confused if this verse is universal or not and I still don’t have opinion about this verseAnd if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire! (48:13)
Just after 48:28, this verse came -
Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. (48:29)This verse is definitely applicable to all non-believers.
“They wish that you would reject faith as they have rejected faith unless that you would all be equal. So, don’t take protectors from them unless they emigrate in the way of Allah but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them.”Surah 4 verse 89
“They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah . But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.
Except for those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty or those who come to you, their hearts strained at [the prospect of] fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.”(Quran:89-90)
the complete verse says to fight and kill only the ones who fight you. I am also assuming that it was for a particular period of time but I am not so sure in this case. But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment. (4:14)
Let those fight in the cause of Allah Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - Soon shall We give him a reward of great (value). (4:74)
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan. (4:76)
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;- (4:89)
All above verses are saying atheists are friends of satan and ordering muslims to fight with them.Part 2. Verses against equality
VERSE IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY THAT OTHER RELIGIONS DONT HAVE:
Prophet Muhammad(sm) said ,“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab, also a white has no superiority over black nor does a black have any superiority over white except by Taqwa(virtuous deeds and piety).”(Sahih Muslim)VERSES IN FAVOUR OF INEUALITY
Witness in 2:1 for women:men
O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write [it] between you in justice. Let no scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him. So let him write and let the one who has the obligation dictate. And let him fear Allah, his Lord, and not leave anything out of it. But if the one who has the obligation is of limited understanding or weak or unable to dictate himself, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her. And let not the witnesses refuse when they are called upon. And do not be [too] weary to write it, whether it is small or large, for its [specified] term. That is more just in the sight of Allah and stronger as evidence and more likely to prevent doubt between you, except when it is an immediate transaction which you conduct among yourselves. For [then] there is no blame upon you if you do not write it. And take witnesses when you conclude a contract. Let no scribe be harmed or any witness. For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear Allah . And Allah teaches you. And Allah is Knowing of all things. (2:282)Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. (2:228)
Sahih al-Bukhari Book 54 Hadith 460
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning."As you can see, angels will curse a woman if she refuses her husband in bed. And in another hadith we find that Allah himself backs up this female shaming:
Sahih Muslim Book 8 Hadith 3367
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her until he (her husband) is pleased with her.So both Allah and the angels will take the side of the husband in this matter.
Now a Muslim might say at this point, something like this:
“In marriage a husband and wife must not neglect each other’s needs in bed, because this will lead to frustration and ultimately to adultery. Therefore, in his wisdom Allah commands that the wife doesn’t refuse a man calling her to bed.”
Obviousely, there is some truth to this statement. But it should go for both sexes. However there is no hadith or Quran verse to be found, saying the exact same about men having to respond to their wives call. So: inequality.
Also, the hadith clearly mentions that this applies to every single time the woman is not in the mood for sex. I can understand there is a problem when a woman structurally refuses to come to bed with her husband. But this hadith talks about any time.1. These hadith clearly demonstrate that a woman must have sex when she does not want to. I leave it to the readers to see if that would constitute rape, since she is forced into it with the fear of Allah. 2. These scriptural statements are not found anywhere in the opposite direction. The man is told in Islam to treat his wife well, keep her satisfied and other general non-specific rules. But nowhere does Muhammad say that Allah and the angels curse a man if he neglects his wife in this department. This is inequality. 3. In the Bible, we see that Paul speaks of complete and perfect unity and equality concerning the same issue. He says, in 1 Corinthians 7:4: “The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.” This is a round circle, an even scale.
"[Muhammad] said, 'Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said,
'This is the deficiency in her intelligence." (Bukhari 6:301)A'isha said [to Muhammad]: '
You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'
These are the words of Muhammad's favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam. (Muslim 4:1039)You had never read all religions. :P

@AllAboutGay
Sexist verses:
“Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has made one superior to the other and because they spend to support them from their means. Therefore, righteous women are obedient and they guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard. And, as to those women from whom you fear disobedience, give them a warning, send them to separate beds, and beat them.” Surah 4 verse 34
“And do not wish for that by which Allah has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of his bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing.
And for all, We have made heirs to what is left by parents and relatives. And to those whom your oaths have bound [to you] - give them their share. Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, a Witness.
Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.”(Quran 32:33)
yes I agree that the verse is sexist but again Quran is no less sexist compared to holy books of other religionsOther religions ? I guess you did read only two or three religions. Atheistic religions have no holy books, they all accept their books are created by humans. Abrahmic religions (judeo-christians, islam) are the most sexist religions ever.
"Women are mens "fields," and men can have sex with them whenever they want" Surah 2 verse 223
“Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.”(quran 2:223)
no it doesn’t necessarily mean that..it solely depends on how you interpret the verse…the most popular interpretation is something else that you should know from religious scholarsAnd they ask thee concerning menstruation. Say, `It is a harmful thing, so keep away from women during menstruation, and go not in unto them until they are clean. But when they have cleansed themselves, go in unto them as ALLAH has commanded you. ALLAH loves those who keep themselves clean."- this is the interpretation. Right ?
[Muhammad said] 'Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?' The women replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her religion.'"
Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles. (Bukhari 6:301)"A woman is worth one-half of a man, and men are above women" Surah 4 verse 11, Surah 2 verse 282 ans Surah 2 verse 228
“Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze.Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents [alone] inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah . Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.”(quran:10-11)
it just says about distribution of property to offspring but i really do not know much about property distribution tbh.You literally invaded chapter 10 verse into chapter 2. Read all three verses again. Chapter 10 is talking about property, whereas 2:228 and 2:282 are talking about supremacy and witnesses.
“Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
Divorce is twice. Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allah . But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allah, then there is no blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself. These are the limits of Allah, so do not transgress them. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah - it is those who are the wrongdoers.
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah . These are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.
And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things.
And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allah knows and you know not.”(Quran:228-232)
the “men are above woman” is apparently here applicable for these “laws and order” most probably but I suck at understanding official lawsThen you should not stand for a bs religion first in the place. Let me give you some Islamic laws.
II. the Quran and sexual intercourse
Another issue I would like to address is the following passage in the Quran:
Surah Al-Mu’minun (23), verses 1–6:
The believers must (eventually) win through,
Those who humble themselves in their prayers;
Who avoid vain talk;
Who are active in deeds of charity;
Who abstain from sex,
Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,
Everyone knows Muslim men are allowed to have several wives. This verse tells them they can have sexual intercourse with them, which already shows inequality, since women in Islam can only have one husband (who can only be a Muslim, which is another rule not applied to Muslims). There is a third reason why there is inequality in this passage. Verse 6 clearly states that they can also have intercourse with their ‘ma malakat aymanukum” as the Arab says, which means their slave women.
So:
1. Muslim men can marry more than one woman, while Muslim woman can marry only one husband. This is inequality.
2. Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim man, while Muslim men can marry outside of Islam (this is not proven by the passage above, but this should be common knowledge). This is inequality.
3. Muslim men can have sex with an unlimited number of slave women, on top of their four wives. This is inequality. The Prophet said: "'The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'"
In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs.
(Bukhari 62:81)"Muslim men may marry up to 4 wives, including prepubecent girls, and can own sex slaves" Surah 4 verse 3, Surah 65 verse 4
“And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin.
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].
And give the women [upon marriage] their [bridal] gifts graciously. But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease.
And do not give the weak-minded your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.”(quran 4:2-5)
Quran set a limit of marriage since polygamy was common at that time in many places of the world. A limit was set where as other religions didn’t even set any limit. the bible and other religious books have so many examples of extreme polygamy.A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he "donates" her on the spot to another man. (Bukhari 62:58)
I agree they are talking about limits of wives but not limits of slaves. Muhammad violated this limit so it does not matter anymore.
This same rule does not attribute to women. They can marry only a guy. I will give you chapter 4 verse. A Muslim man can have sex with four wives and an unlimited number of slaves. A Muslim woman can have sex with only one man.
Surah 4:24, 33:50
A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage. Note that the verse distinguishes wives from captives (those whom they right hand possesses).
And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. (4:24)O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (33:50)
Quran also tells you to marry only 1 wife if you cannot maintain equality. As far as I know, permission from wife is necessary for polygamy. Also marriage is essential to have sex. Even a slave will also have to be married. So this is not exactly sexual slavery and as far as I know, to marry a slave you will have to free him/her at first.
Oh yeah, pun intended. Quran tells you to keep inequality among them because you cannot keep equality among them. The verse
Ye will not be able to deal equally between (your) wives, however much ye wish (to do so). But turn not altogether away (from one), leaving her as in suspense. If ye do good and keep from evil, lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful (4:129)"Women must cover themselves and be seen only by relatives, eunuchs, slaves and children who have not yet had sex with women" Surah 24 verse 31
“Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.
And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their head covers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.”(Quran 24:30-31)
Whether it is sexist or not is completely a matter of perspectiveHomophobic verses:
"And (We sent) Lot when he said to his people: What! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you? Most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people. And the answer of his people was no other than that they said: Turn them out of your town, surely they are a people who seek to purify (themselves). So We delivered him and his followers, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind. And We rained upon them a rain; consider then what was the end of the guilty." Surah 7 verses 80-84
"And as for those who are guilty of an indecency from among your women, call to witnesses against them four (witnesses) from among you; then if they bear witness confine them to the houses until death takes them away or Allah opens some way for them. And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them; surely Allah is oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful."surah 4 verse 15-16
The quran is no less homophobic than the bible.
I hate all religions equally. So please do not bring other religion in this conversation next time.
Now do you understand why I'm angry?
Because Muslims say that the Quran and Islam are perfect but look at this.
And the punishment for leaving islam is death:
Which verse? I really don’t know if it is true or not but I’ve heard so.
But what about the so many similar extreme ideas of other religions?Perhaps you have never gone outside of your house or you did never read some newspapers or internet. Islam has killed 2.5 times people more than Christianity. They have killed 4 times more than communism. Communism is a ideology and do a google search for the definition of ideology.
research has shown (you can google this) that 88% of Muslims in Egypt and 62% of Muslims in Pakistan favor the death penalty for people who leave the Muslim religion.
So basically a lot of Muslims want me dead.
So don't tell me don't attack islam when a lot of Muslims want to kill me.
There are some who are like this but they are not extreme enough to kill you. There are some atheists and also few probable gays) I know in my muslim majority country and I have no problem with them if they are decent. If majority muslims were so harmful to them, they would have been killed by now. Yes, may be many muslims oppose being atheists but most are not so extreme enough to kill you because no part of islam(to my knowledge) says that killing them will cause muslims to be rewarded. Only 2 or 3 muslim countries have very strict laws that include mandatory burka or something like this. The media make it appear otherwise. These “Islamic” things are usually regulated by familial and social influence. My assumption is that the media largely focus on exceptions and may also twist facts due to their bias. Non-muslims in my muslim country are doing absolutely fine and I have several non-muslim friends.
Read black book of communism for deaths caused by communism. Communism is not atheism, communism has not killed not a single person for the name of atheism because atheism is not a philosophy. Nor it is a doctrine. All of Bolsheviks were christians before the age of 18 and they all were influenced by a bs religion christianity.
How you and they would change their countries’ laws ? How ?
13 islamic countries will kill you to death if you are an atheist. It does not matter your neighbours are decent or not. They are still unable to change their constition.- Afghanistan- 99.7 percent muslims
- Iran – 99.4 percent muslims
- Malaysia- 61.3 percent of the population practices Islam
- Mauritania- 100 percent muslims
- Maldives – 98.4 percent muslims
- Nigeria – 50 percent muslims and 40 percent christians
- Pakistan – 95 to 98 percent muslims
- Qatar- 67.7 percent muslims
- Saudi Arabia – 93 percent muslims
- Somalia- 98.6 percent muslims
- Sudan- 97 percent muslims
- United Arab Emirates – 100 percent muslims (only 20 percent residents are citizens and all of them are muslims)
- Yemen- 90 percent muslims
If you don't agree with me then please just explain calmly and in a way i can understand
Yes I have done
P.S. I'm 99% sure that all of the verses i mentioned are not taken out of context or not translated correctly. But even if you think that 1 or 2 are taken out of context or not translated correctly, it doesn't matter because the rest of the verses are not
Most of your verses are taken out of context. read the entire verse containing passages to understand the context.
I will give you my verses. You do not need to worry. You have not proved his verses are out of context.
Tabari VIII:117 - The fate of more captured farm wives, whom the Muslims distributed amongst themselves as sex slaves:
"Dihyah had asked the Messenger for Safiyah when the Prophet chose her for himself... the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims."Al-Tirmidhi 3272 -

Bukhari (6:301)
"[Muhammad] said, 'Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said,
'This is the deficiency in her intelligence."Bukhari (6:301) - continued
- "[Muhammad said] 'Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?' The women replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her religion.'"
Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles.
Bukhari (2:29)
- Women comprise the majority of Hell's occupants. This is important because the only women in heaven mentioned explicitly by Muhammad are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men. (A weak Hadith,
Kanz al-`ummal
, 22:10, even suggests that 99% of women go to Hell).
Bukhari (62:81)
"The Prophet said: "'The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'"
In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs.Bukhari (62:58)
A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he "donates" her on the spot to another man.Muslim (4:1039)
"A'isha said [to Muhammad]: '
You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'
These are the words of Muhammad's favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam.Abu Dawud (2:704)
"...the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: When one of you prays without a sutrah, a dog, an ass, a pig, a Jew, a Magian, and a woman cut off his prayer, but it will suffice if they pass in front of him at a distance of over a stone's throw."Abu Dawud (2155)
Women are compared to slaves and camels with regard to the "evil" in them.Yes, now I have changed my mind and I think that Arabs like you(assuming that you are not a troll) are even gayer than me
Applicable to @A-former-user, not to me
You only focused on the apparent dark sides instead of focusing on the so many bright sides of Islam
I am not @A-fromer-user. You cannot ignore the dark side of Islam. Do not forget fitna and jihad.

Man, let me prove Islam is a religion of terrorism with my own genesis. These verses are other than I have discussed with you.Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! (3:151)
When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies. (4:101)
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter; (5:33)
As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power. (5:38)
They do blaspheme who say: "(Allah) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. (5:72)
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." (8:12)
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." (8:14)
It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah. when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). (8:17)
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell; (8:36)
Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). (8:38)
And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. (8:39)
O Messenger. rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding. (8:65)
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (9:5)
To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him. (10:4)
We drowned those who denied Our revelations. (10:73)
These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord), - for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water. (22:19)
O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. (33:28)
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. (33:29)
. O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him. (33:123)
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah.s Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. (47:4)
And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire! (48:13)On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: (55:35)
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. (98:6)

@AllAboutGay said in Do you think ISLAM is a religion of terrorism ?:
@A-Former-User said in Do you think ISLAM is a religion of terrorism ?:
Let me prove to you that islam is not a religion of peace:
Let me prove that you have very gay misconceptions😏
“When the sacred months have passed, then kill the Mushrikin wherever you find them. Capture them. Besiege them. Lie in wait for them in each and every ambush but if they repent, and perform the prayers, and give zacat then leave their way free.” surah 9 verse 5
“[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists. So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.**
And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment. Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].**
And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.**
And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.
How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].”(Quran 9:1-7)
These verses were against particular enemies only for a particular time who had broken the treaty and not universal“They ask you about fighting during the sacred months.
And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.”(quran 2:217)
this verse has nothing to do with violence and it doesn’t necessarily say to attack“Kill them wherever you find them and drive them out from where they drove you out.
Again this verse was for a particular time period and not universal and it was against only those particular enemy soldiers/fighters.“When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks.” Surah 47 verse 4 (smite means cut, so this means that when you will meet the unbelievers, cut their necks)
And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.”(Quran 47:4)
this is only against enemy soldiers in battle“When your Lord revealed to the angels, ‘Truly I am with you.
I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.”(quran 8:12)
this is just an instruction by the god only to angels and nothing to do with human violence“Oh you who believe, fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you and let them find harshness in you.” surah 9 verse 123
So no need for disbelievers to worry“Muhammad is the apostle of Allah.
I am really confused if this verse is universal or not and I still don’t have opinion about this verse“They wish that you would reject faith as they have rejected faith unless that you would all be equal.
I am also assuming that it was for a particular period of time but I am not so sure in this case.Part 2. Verses against equality
VERSE IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY THAT OTHER RELIGIONS DONT HAVE:
Prophet Muhammad(sm) said ,“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab, also a white has no superiority over black nor does a black have any superiority over white except by Taqwa(virtuous deeds and piety).”(Sahih Muslim)Sexist verses:
Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.”(Quran 32:33)
yes I agree that the verse is sexist but again Quran is no more sexist compared to holy books of other religions"Women are mens "fields," and men can have sex with them whenever they want" Surah 2 verse 223
“Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.”(quran 2:223)
no it doesn’t necessarily mean that..it solely depends on how you interpret the verse…the most popular interpretation is something else that you should know from religious scholars"A woman is worth one-half of a man, and men are above women" Surah 4 verse 11, Surah 2 verse 282 ans Surah 2 verse 228
Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.”(quran:10-11)
it just says about distribution of property to offspring but i really do not know much about property distribution tbh.
That is better for you and purer, and Allah knows and you know not.”(Quran:228-232)
the “men are above woman” is apparently here applicable for these “laws and order” most probably but I suck at understanding official laws"Muslim men may marry up to 4 wives, including prepubecent girls, and can own sex slaves" Surah 4 verse 3, Surah 65 verse 4
A limit was set where as other religions didn’t even set any limit. the bible and other religious books have so many examples of extreme polygamy.
Quran also tells you to marry only 1 wife if you cannot maintain equality. As far as I know, permission from wife is necessary for polygamy. Also marriage is essential to have sex. Even a slave will also have to be married. So this is not exactly sexual slavery and as far as I know, to marry a slave you will have to free him/her at first."Women must cover themselves and be seen only by relatives, eunuchs, slaves and children who have not yet had sex with women" Surah 24 verse 31
The quran is no more homophobic than the bible.
Now do you understand why I'm angry?
Because muslims say that the quran and islam are perfect but look at this.
And the punishment for leaving islam is death:
Which verse? I really don’t know if it is true or not but I’ve heard so.
But what about the so many similar extreme ideas of other religions?research has shown (you can google this) that 88% of Muslims in Egypt and 62% of Muslims in Pakistan favor the death penalty for people who leave the Muslim religion.
And if anybody changed their minds after reading this, tell me because i would like to know. ( :
Yes, now I have changed my mind and I think that arabs like you(assuming that you are not a troll) are even gayer than me
You only focused on the apparent dark sides instead of focusing on the so many bright sides of Islam@muslim I really don’t know if you are a troll or not since you look different from average Moroccans I think. And most Moroccans are probably similar to many south Europeans. But I also know they are probably diverse. So there is a possibility that you are not a troll…But If you cannot give arguments then why try to debate in the 1st place? And your English is not understandable.
@steelfirehawk Arab Christians also use the word “allah” for god. There are websites who give fake information to prove that Allah is either the biblical devil or a moon god. However, their arguments are baseless. You can research on a neutral basis. In Aramaic language(the language of Jesus), a word for god is “Alaha” which is similar to allah. But I agree that the idea of god in Islam is different from that of Christianity.
TF THIS GAY IS INTO MOESLIM AF 😏 hatsoff

I think Islam is a very intolerant religion. There is no way for muslims to question their teachings because in doing so is questioning Allah himself. We all know what happens then, they typically throw you in prison for blasphemy or simple shoot you. For example a christian woman in a sharia law country gets gang raped by Muslim men. She reports it to the police. They throw her in jail for adulatory and sex outside of wedlock. So honestly I think muslims in general need to rethink their beliefs and morals.

I’m Muslim

@Muslim Islam is knobhead
Satanism is kewl af -
Islam is not a religion of terrorism. Extremists are the terrorists
-
Ur mum is the terrorist
-
@Muslim No way man, Islam is a religion just like any other. I'm a Christian, but I respect Muslims and I have nothing against Islam. We all have to get to know each other and respect each other, so that the world will be a more peaceful place!
-
@Muslim If we look at the history of peoples around the world, their personal motives disguised as religion have been responsible for the greatest conflicts, wars and genocide, as in the past Jews have done by wiping out pagan peoples, the Church of Rome with its Inquisition and radical Islamic organizations like the Taliban or the Daesh. It is not religious doctrines responsible for evils such as terrorism, but those who manipulate masses suffered by using them as instruments of their interests, whether they are would-be priests, gurus, prophets, or visionaries.
-
@Muslim I think it's a cool religion...as other religions..am not against any belief on this earth

RE: "Tell me what do you think about Islam"
Clearly, Islam is much the same as Christianity. Most Muslims have never read the Quaaran. They know nothing of the actual history of the Quaaran. They call Islam a religion of peace and like Christianity, peace means everyone like me is good and anyone different than me is going to burn in hell. Both Islam and Christianity are "CLOSED RELIGIONS." This means you are either a member and saved from a horrible fate or you are not a member of the faith and damned.Islam, unlike Christianity is a Political System in addition to a Religion. This makes it particularly heinous. Sharia law along with public floggings, stoning, subjugation of women, blasphemy laws, mandatory dress codes, and state mandated participation all combine to create a system of mind control. Islam is pretty much the same as Christianity was during the Dark Ages in some parts of the world. In other parts of the world it has loosened it's grip, similar to the Christian faith, and become a wishy-washy version of itself that not even the Muslims actually follow.
Islam, like Christianity, is not actually the problem. It is the insane zealots in both faiths that are the problem. It is the people in Islam engaged in the killing of homosexuals and the stoning and beating of women that are the problem. It is the Christian witch burners (YES THIS HAPPENS IN THE WORLD TODAY) and killers of children imagined to be possessed by demons that are the problem.
To get a good person to do evil things, it takes religion.
