Well, technically monsoon (habagat) season so it is rainy.
Then there is an LPA over South China Sea and Tropical Depression west of the Philippines. These two systems further enhance the monsoon.

@bela surprisingly rain came as a villian for me too today. it was just a "flash rain" which only lasted for seconds but made sure that i reached my destination drenched from head to toe.
