• Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

  • @mianshah If you wrote that your a genius and thank you.

  • @Mianshah It's not that simple for most people, including me. It's difficult to take your eyes off of the sadness in the world when it surrounds you. The world is kind of like a shuffled deck of cards. Every card is different, and there's no way to predict which one comes next. Uncertainty is the greatest enemy.

That being said, some people are naturally 'unlucky'. (Not that luck is real, simply that they've been born into a life over which they have little control.)

And the ones that /are/ lucky make it difficult for others to ever make it up the ladder. The greatest example of this is the economy. You can easily be born into a poor family, with no way to ever make more money, because the people at the top are greedy.

Life can /suck/. Don't deny that. It's pointless to tell yourself that life is paradise because it's simply not. Overall, it really depends on where you start. You can /try/ to steer your life in different directions, but there's no guarantee the outcome will be a good one.

Conclusion: You're gifted to be able to see things positively because some people simply can't. There are too many things surrounding them. This is why empathy is a great tool. It allows you to connect with people who can't control their lives. Just understand that it's not the people making themselves sad, it's the world around them.
