• Why did I do this to myself?

Warning: This link contains a 4chan feelsthread that is both NSFW, inappropriate, full of feels and really long. Don't say that I didn't warn you...

  • @sir-devil HELP THE TEXT IS SO HARD TO READ DUDZ

  • @sir-devil the resolution got clearer. I can read it now

  • @sir-devil just finished reading. Wtf was that. Was that actually true?

1st I'm confused but I'm pretty sure i enjoyed the story
    2nd Was that actually true

  • By the way i loves the name being a reference to the Illiad by Homer

  • @thestrangest The OP says that it's true and it been generally accepted as real by everyone in 4chan and Reddit to be real but I guess, we would never get the confirmation?

  • Watch Anime Eyes

@sir-devil i was waiting for something sad to happen like someone dying from cancer because of the way you made your post but instead got a lolicon fanfiction playing out as an IRL story. I'm simultaneously relieved that no-one died, confused by the moral questions raised by what I'd just read and wanted to know if the story ended happily ever after with him publicly revealing their relationship when it became socially acceptable

  • @thestrangest No, there's no happy ending. She reveals to him that her father used to molest her and that's why she was too direct back then because she didn't want her first time with her father. He was shocked at this and was angry at both her and himself. He was angry at himself because he thought all she wanted could have a consolation but he turned it something else; that he was no different from her father, he was nothing but her second abuser. He was angry at her at the same time because he realized that there was no love in the beginning and that he was nothing more than an escape for her. This made him hesitant to reply to her email. His delayed email was never received by her. She left without a trace. He got guilty of his actions and realized that he indeed loved her and that he would never be able to meet her again, resorting to alcohol, drugs, and self-harm.

She could have left because he might have reminded her of trauma or because of her guilt. Many favor the latter as they theorize that she was traumatized all along and that her brain shut most of it out. They also claim that it was the reason she chose to pursue psychology as it could have to been to better understand her trauma.

So yeah, No one's happy in the end and with OP's ending, it could even mean that he committed suicide. The thing is we would never know...

This is starting to sound faker

He was angry at himself because he thought all she wanted could have a consolation but he turned it something else; that he was no different from her father, he was nothing but her second abuser. He was angry at her at the same time because he realized that there was no love in the beginning and that he was nothing more than an escape for her. This made him hesitant to reply to her emails. Jesus fucking potato salad

    Pursuing psychology is very good

So yeah, No one's happy in the end and with OP's ending, it could even mean that he committed suicide. The thing is we would never know...

No its a happy ending. She became a psychologist and he ended his miserable life on the high note of having lost his virginity. In either case once you resumed it, it seems most likely to be a fake story but a fun one none the less

  • @thestrangest I disagree. A happy ending is when the major characters are shown happy in the end. In here, there's no happiness.

She left broken because she was reminded of her trauma. Although not much is shown about her, she is shown to be depressed about it. Anything could have happened to her. It's unclear so it can't be said to be a happy ending. She could have even committed suicide due to her guilt. Like I said, it is unclear.

he ended his miserable life on the high note of having lost his virginity

what... what do mean?! Just because he had sex, the things he went/is going through is better. That statement looks dumb and how in the hell, does it contribute to the happy ending. It looks as if it was desensitizing depression to me. It also implies that it was a happy ending because he ended his "miserable" life. It just shows: Suicide = Happy end, which is justifying suicide. It feels so wrong to me...

    I disagree

    Happiness = expectations:reality

You had high expectations and I didn't

She persuade psychology m8. That's as happy of a result as I needed

She could have even committed suicide due to her guilt. Like I said, it is unclear.

    Whilst learning psychology? Unlikely

No disrespect intended but it is a joke dumbass. Ever heard of sarcasm

It looks as if it was desensitizing depression to me. It also implies that it was a happy ending because he ended his "miserable" life.

    Your humour radar is broken

It just shows: Suicide = Happy end, which is justifying suicide

Sometimes suicide is OK. Not joking on this assertion

It feels so wrong to me..

    Wooga wooga

    I disagree

I disagree again. You are warping the meaning of happy ending to fit better with your thoughts. It's not bad but still, there's a standard definition for a happy ending accepted by every other people. By their definition, in a happy ending, the major characters are shown to be happy and everything works out for the best and they lived "Happily ever after".

    Whilst learning psychology? Unlikely

Why is it unlikely? Ever heard of the term, "Practising what they preach". If anything, they are at a higher risk of suicide.

Anyway, let's drop this. I don't want to argue over this.

  • @sir-devil k. I didn't know psychologists committed $UICIDE. Thanks for the info
