@alex-pierre If you want to be happy, do not dwell in the past, do not worry about the future, focus on living fully in the present.

I think that the saddest moment of my life, and the lowest so far, was when I thought there was something missing in my life. I didn't really notice it before then, I was too busy to care. But, when I was ten I had a lot of free time and my mom was always busy with work, so I thought to myself, pretended to play in my room, but I was really thinking. And one day it hit me I didn't have a dad. I didn't really think that it was unusual until that moment. I went practically my whole life without him. And I was fine with it, if my mom didn't like him then he must've done something wrong, but it wasn't until then that I thought about what he was like. What kind of person he was. If he had another family somewhere.
-
@jackie-green i hope you find out someday, ;)
-
@jynextremist To be honest, I don't really care about him anymore. There isn't anything to be gained for me if I found out. He's probably a guy I'm better off not knowing. No one asked him to leave, my mom may have divorced him, but he still could have stuck around.

Death of a friend
-
@elayne yeah that has happened to me once, in 7th grade i think... he was my only friend at that time, so it was pretty painful
-
@jynextremist Around the same age for me actually, he was the one person I was talking with ever since my initiation in 5th grade
-

Working hard to prove the world wrong and finding out you never stood a chance. For me that was 15 years if pushing through abuse and disabilities to prove I could be normal enough to not burnden my family the way everyone expected me too. Turns out I can kill myself working to death but I would not be "metically fit to compete school" Just as my work began to pay off.
