i guess people associate happiness to ones achievements in life and each achievement made by an individual imparts happiness only to that individual and makes everyone around him jealous and miserable...what do u think/?

I guess you are right. But not everyone have the same view on that. I mean achievements its not the only reason for someones happiness. Someone might archieve everything he needs and yet he might lack "happiness". By worrying too much on his archievements. And someone with no achievement might be happy no matter what lifes brings him.

Things make people happy because they have some memories attached to them.
or they just fit perfectly in the 'void' that we have at that particular time.Since everyones memories and 'voids' are associated differently the things that make you happy don't necessarily make everyone else happy.

i don't agree with you because even if someone is success(materialistic success like money etc) he/she can still be unhappy.and if someone's success makes everyone around him jealous and miserable thats their problem.its because maybe they are not content with themselves.happiness is simply an individualistic thing
