• @Sup dude... There are places in Brazil that get -10. Of course not where I live because fuck me. All I get is mosquitos all year and heat. And armed robbery

Im not talking about my country but the city! Thats how extreme the weather gets. Ehm Ehm...our lowest goes -20 degrees. We are popular for rape.

  • @Sup ok. You win the "poor bastard" award. I forfeited when you said "popular for rape". I am out. India is the new host for hell as far as I am concerned now

    Hahaha.
That was not my objective though! Anyways...how worse did the hailstorm get?

  • @Sup once every three to four years we get a very destructive one... Like... Really town wrecking ones. Also, I live in the region known in Brazil as number one in lightning strikes. So... Pretty bad storms all around. If you windows don't get broken by ice from the sky, you home appliances could all fry up if you can't afford some sort of extra protection against Zeus tomfoolery.
    Also robbers. Lots of robbers.

Disclaimer: Brazilian robber don't come down from the sky as I might have implied. They come by foot. At night. Like normal worldwide robbers.

  • @Thales_BG damn, you guys, the 70mph wind and driving icy rain here is sounding positively delightful now lol. And the biggest danger to me is frustration and boredom as the ferries are cancelled and I'm stuck on a beautiful island. Even the wifi is holding up. I may get splashed by a wave if i stroll past the castle at the end of my street to the harbour and the beach, save me lol

  • @Scottish First thing the summer takes away from me is the courage to do anything remotely physical. Then, it takes my peace of mind, then my internet goes to shit, then my power goes out and all I'm left with is time to think about past mistakes and ways to leave this place before I get struck by lighting or robbed. Again.

  • @Thales_BG That's not too good at all bg. I definitely do the thinking of past mistakes thing. Suppose i have it pretty good apart from that, some adverse but not too extreme weather is about it. Bristol, the city i used to live in, was a bitch for getting robbed, everyone has their tale/s to tell. Don't miss that at all. Where I'm living now you can go out and leave the door unlocked, nice and old school. I've seen city of god and city of men, is it like that where you live?

  • @Scottish thankfully not man. Althought people from the kind of environment showed in both those movies has been migrating to where I live, the region here is still pretty chill and safe. I've only been a victim of armed robbery once in my life time here. So I guess you could say it isn't all that bad. But I sure can't leave the house unlocked and unguarded by my dogs. Otherwise I would go back to an empty house one of those days

  • @Thales_BG u got this bro, that temperature is nothing 👌🏻😂 I went to Dubai in the middle of the summer when the average high is approximately 45-50°C and still walked around with a large cup of hot coffee in my hand 👍🏻😂
