Messi is a great goalscorer of course he is but where was he when it matters. My point is whenever I watch barca every barca player is searching messi to give him the ball and he's the one who's creating, scoring, linking up with teammates etc.. In barca messi is the one who's doing everything as you say playmaking, finishing, vision... But it doesn't work you can't trust a single player that much and he didn't perform well in the important games in ucl. But in real madrid everybody has different roles. Ronaldo's role is to finish. My question is who did their job better. Messi couldn't create or play make in last 3 ucl whereas Cristiano scored goals for fun
