@babygirl95 What's behind this Golden Girls thing, eh? I remember when it was originally on TV, and -admittedly- the writing was slightly above average for a primetime yanqui sitcom. But ...better than Seinfeld? Better than Always Sunny in Philadelphia?
Here's my theory as an amateur psychologist: I think Golden Girls was on TV at a time when you were at a particularly happy place in your life, and you associate it with that.
I'm not criticising. I feel the same way about Miami Vice. To me that show is a holy, living thing.
And also, you can turn around and say, "Indy, you bellend, I love Golden Girls because the characters are ace, that's all". I'll abide by that. After all, I'm a 40 yr old man. In just over twenty years, those pajama-wearing pensioners will be my contemporaries, so they'd BETTER be fun.
