• Honestly. What gets you out of bed?

Or don't you really get out of bed and spend hours dreading what is awaiting you when you get up? Do the things you do give you incentive to get up? Or is it the people you live with? Or maybe the people you live for?

  • Great topic, LB. It would be easy to give a trite answer, or a shyte answer, but my motivations are as follows:

    1. Go to work (to provide for family).
    2. Stupid hobbies (graffiti, day-dreaming, reading, watching TV).
    3. Making pretty or intelligent girls laugh, while also keeping them at arms length to avoid complications.

At the weekend? I get out of bed purely to go for walks in the country and (in the morning) play XBOX One, (in the afternoon) PS4.

    Now that's a great reason.

    1. Stupid hobbies (graffiti, day-dreaming, reading, watching TV).

These things would never get me out of bed... hehe, I'd do them in bed (except graffity)

    1. Making pretty or intelligent girls laugh, while also keeping them at arms length to avoid complications.

Where do you find a bunch of pretty or intelligent girls to make laugh every day?

Hehe, those things wouldn't get me out of bed either. What do you play?

  • @lego-batman I play ANYTHING, mate. You've got to remember, when I was a kid, games still came on cassettes, so I'm obsessed with how quick and photo-real games are now. I'm really milking Red Dead 2, tho. I care less about missions than just riding around hunting, playing poker, looking for stuff.

Dunno why there's no girls where you are. I find there's always one or two interesting girls working on cash registers that appreciate a distraction viz-a-viz a conversation.

  • @lego-batman

Motivation comes and goes, there are times that I have a very strong resolve and "light" that cheers my way and then, there are times that I "live" to go back to sleep, I've lived in both spectrum of the coin and I prefer to "live" for something rather then "survive", I believe that's the worst feeling.

I would like to say I live for MYSELF but I'd be lying, I often feel this resolve and drive in someone special!

  • to go to sleep at night

  • Blame this to Bladder.. no matter how you wanted to continue your sweet dreams, Bladder will kick you out of the bed.

  • Such question that is to be asked more often. Cause this kind of routine way of life really pushes me away from true vitality. Why I get up in the mornig? Because it is natural or I should do or have some cool staff to do. For now it is just so primitive. But I suppose and hope something bigger will come eventually.

  • I actually get up on morning to see how many competitors have I defeated in the competition of getting up early😂

  • I get up in the morning because it is not healthy to stay at bed all day, your body need to be active. Also i do things that makes me want to get up and not staying at bed.

IMHO living for yourself is pretty lonely. I mean obviously you shouldn't obsess about one single person, wether that be you or someone else. Can't help but quote the most influencial person of all times again: "love thy neighbour" means don't save the world, just be there for the people around you (and yourself too).

:joy: I wish my humor engine would be warm in the morning, but I tend to be totally grumpy most days...

  • @lego-batman haha yeah .. and coffee too.

Yeah, i also think so, I was just voicing the opinion of others by saying your drive and happiness should be something that comes from the inside and not found in someone when I find that hard for me, I always find life to be much more colorful if I live for others / someone special. Ofc I never stop living for myself, it's just that the drive and fuel comes from there 🤷‍♂️

  • @lego-batman wish i wouldn't. i wake up just so that i can realize i'm one day closer to death. that wakes me up.

  • I'm actually don't wake up in the morning I don't go to bed until 5 or 6 so I wake up around 2 p.m. but I do it so that I have time to enjoy my life turn enjoy the beauty so enjoy the freedom to accomplish my goals

Interesting life you must have: what kind of goals make it feasible to get up in the afternoon?

  • I honestly dunno. I relly wish I dont wake up oneday. Lol
