@Nelson-Chapman if we're talking physical things then tobacco and phone but they dont come everywhere (shower etc) so I'm gonna say wistfulness and relentless internal monologue/dialogue. That last one is a motherfucker, haven't been able to turn it off for decades

@sarah_the_magpie definitely agree Sarah, one of the best in any genre, ethereal, breath taking, gut wrenching, uplifting. I think isnt anything is up their with loveless, play both from start to finish and love every second. Favourite song, nowww that is tough! Maybe soon or feed me with your kiss. For sentimental reasons though its got to be strawberry wine from the ecstasy and wine e.p. as that's the first m.b.v. i ever heard, the first embrace that started the love affair. I have a suggestion though you may already know it, check out the boo radleys (yeah i know they're famous for Wake up its a beautiful morning) album "everything's alright forever ", very m.b.v. like, layers of distorted guitars, fragile wistful yearning mixed with crunching riffs and woven with melodies, breaks your heart and then lifts it, a thing of true beauty x

@sarah_the_magpie also props for being into shoegaze, that was a flash in the pan obscure indie thing here in the uk over 25 years ago, I'm surprised it's a thing today lol. I still listen to bands like chapterhouse and slowdive to this day (i also am a fan, always have been)
