i enjoy playing immersive story-driven games or casual puzzle games.
in the first category, i second what @DIVine said: elder scrolls/europa universalis series are both awesome and definitely worth checking out.
as far as casual games go, i'd recommend you to try Agario or 2048. watch out tho, they're both very very addictive lol

i think that capitalism is a good servant, but a lousy master.

in theory, it's a wonderful invention. capitalism is very efficient and self-sustaining. it rewards people who are willing to work hard & smart and punishes those who aren't. greed is in human nature indeed, and capitalism is a great way to harness it & make it work for the betterment of all.

however, nowadays it seems like capitalism isn't functioning the way it's supposed to. money is being concentrated at the top, which is bad news for us ordinary people. i agree, communism is certainly not the solution, but something drastic must definitely be done to augment & repair capitalism.

i do think that some degree of socialism and/or state intervention is required to spread wealth more equally. billionaires should be taxed more deliberately, and companies must be held accountable for the well-being of their workers. UBI, profit sharing & responsible growth should be the key words.

equality of outcome is impossible to achieve, but equality of opportunity for everyone is something we should all strive for. no one should be left behind :)

personally i just keep reminding myself that in order to be good/perfect at something, you gotta be consistent & always turn in a good result. even on a bad day.
like i'm motivated by a constant desire to be the best at everything i do, 100% of the time, and it has worked for me so far

if it's just a boring task you can kinda wing it, but if it's boring AND important? you just gotta do it, and do it good!!
get comfy, get your mind in the zone, tune out all distractions, drink like 4 cups of coffee and you're all set & good to go :))

it's a good question tho, because motivating ppl is hard. everyone is different and there's no single solution that works for everyone. you just gotta find a method that works for you & stick with it ;)

imho they can experience discrimination and it can be quite severe at times, but white ppl can't fundamentally experience the kind of systematic racism/oppression that poc have faced in the united states, or in other white-majority countries. at least that's how i feel.
