my choice would be "meditations" by marcus aurelius. picked it up from my local library many years ago and it blew my mind. so full of wisdom & general tips on how to live your life without worrying too much about everything.
i'd recommend it to anyone struggling with stress and/or anxiety

i think that most people ask these kind of questions from themselves, because depression is becoming more and more common :/ all i can say to comfort you is that, you know, depression is basically just a mental condition. it's not something that's your fault and it's not something you can fix quickly. you just have to survive it and have faith in yourself. things do get better
