@girlTx09 hii
Do you? Do you really?
-
Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
-
@black_beetle absolutely. And even if it doesn’t, the 0.5 seconds it takes for the doors to close, is occupied by me pushing the button over and over
-
That's a psychological reaction. We do things like that quite often.
-
@willoww Exactly! I do the same thing, every single day in my office. I don't even mind, If someone else is with me in the elevator and i push the button more than three four times and they keep starting at me, as if I'm gonna make the button pops out!
-
do you text people more than once if they did not anwser, do you really love
pizza -
@lala923 hell yeah. And I’ll keep texting them until they text back. Especially if they answered with me back and forth for awhile, and then just stop. So the spam will begin. And it will not stop until I get what I want. Pizza=yuck
-
@black_beetle Lol no, I just do it once. But people do it out of frustration cuz them doors are so slow. :D
-
@black_beetle fuck no!!
-
I usually hit the button, see what floor the elevator is on, decide it isn't moving fast enough and take the stairs. (Cue elevator stopping and no-one knowing why)
-
I used to, I think mostly when I was younger...
but now I usually take the stairs.
-
No matter! Whether I'm young or an adult i still love to push the elevator button more than once, until my elevator door to be open/close within a fraction of second! I know it never happens.
-
yes and YES
-
@willoww that’s me every time I’m on an elevator 😂😂😂
-
@black_beetle Yes, because the elevator doors close faster when you press the buttons profusely, preventing further passengers from getting into the elevator, and potentially wasting time stopping on floors below yours.
Though, to answer your question in a different context, when crossing the street I typically push the button more than once, so that if any jackasses come up behind me, they won't feel the need to confirm that the button has been pressed.

Do you push the elevator button more than once?
Sometimes, yes.
Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
No, i just like pushing buttons
-
I'm lazy. So, no. Actually, I would expect someone else to press the button for me.
-
sure i do but only to make the doors close faster, preventing more people who will most probably be getting off on different floors than me from getting in. saves me more time!
-
i push it just once
xoxo
-
