Despite loving waffles with ice cream, I'm going with pancakes. Mostly because I can make them at home (no waffle iron) and can put on as much maple syrup as I want

@bushmurry I agree, but the Kroger brand frozen cinnamon waffles are quick and pretty dang tasty. If not having a waffle iron is your only drawback.... I don't have one, but waffles are still the stuff. :)
