personally realistic: you could be wishing for something you couldn't have or would never acheive, all because you thought you could. wishing doesn't work. i've never thought it would. being optimistic can hurt you in the end, but being realistic can hurt you in the process but i would think it to be a clearer path

@allusion I would say realistic optimism because I am both. I am realistic but optimistic at the same time :))

Somewhere in between. Be optimistic but when reality hits you be ok with that instead of saddening over it.
