Yeah it is
Nerdy Topic but important!

What makes a person more successful, Will or Skill i had a debate in my school on this topic and I really got myself involved into certain thinking. Majority were in the favor of Will. Minority being in the favor of Skill. I am in the favor of Will because if you have a determination and a drive towards your certain dream or a goal then i think you can surely develop that certain skill and hence be successful. While you can be devoid of skill but unless if you don't have that passion or the focus and Will power behind you that's your Will, your skill is basically wasted.
It may take a lot of time to develop that skill but every person is limitless and there's a lot of hard work into it. But i see the struggle of a person that one is going through and still running after a goal. To me that's successful. But then a girl said that you have all your Will power but the person wit Skill can take away his moment in jus few minutes so it's your Skill that makes you successful.
I still stand by the Will Power because I believe in it and I know if you have it, you can achieve the goal.What according to YOU is more important to emerge as a strong and accomplished person?
-
It's will power, because it can get you multiple skills while vice-versa doesn't count according to me. So if you have the will power to muster those skills, you can be successful.

Well, firstly, I hope you did great on the debate. Secondly, yes, will is more important. We can have all the skill in the world but without the will to put it into good use or be resourceful, it’s futile. I believe if you have the will, we’ll find the skills for it in due course.

@Hiraeth-Goatie 😭nooo I started to stutter but eh it went fine. And yes I agree wit you. Thank you Goaty🍕

@Aimee as the saying goes....."where there's a will there's a way!"
-
@Janet Perhaps tomorrow if not today!
-
@Aimee This is a simple argument.
skill is something you learn/acquire/develop, but can you learn/acquire/develop them without the
will
??it's a matter of which comes first. obviously it's the will...
this debate question does not even excite my neurons...you should debate about modhi being gay or not,
-
Where there's a will, there's controversy.
-
If you have a will you can develop your skill over time but if you have skill but no will than your skill is basically a waste.

@SleepySaint Net se search karke likha hai? 😂
-
@Aimee itna faltu time nhi h merpe😂

There're countless testimonies of those that have been successful in life but it's all down to one's discretion and focus. Any lazy person with a PhD in that field will also break it to you comparably at a lofty proficiency will assignment unaltered. So it's will for skill for success I guess??
-
@Cold-Sun Agreed!
-
@Aimee confident, experience, network, knowledge and the most important thing "Manners make it MAN" 😁
you hafta understand the rules, the way you talk or even the situation you have to deal with. If you are not sure, then you have 2 choices : find a way or make a way. What if you failed? What if you did not get your targets / goals / visions / destinations or any of your wishes? Then, you should change the partners, the environtment, support systems or even "people" who were involve there. Stay in faith, everything will have a good answer in the right time.
All best wishes for you!
-
@Whatasimp21 Agreed! and thank you !!! Best wishes to you as welll!!!!
-
@Aimee Will. With will you can get skills; and you can have skills and lack will, which will make your skills useless. So, mostly, will and spirit.
-
@Aimee
I would say curiosity and motivation to keep learning new things. And have goals in mind to where to go.
I don't possess some of these traits but I believe if I have it then I will be successful than current myself -
@Smt33 that's same as Will! Good thing. You have that passion and focus to achieve your goal. That's Will. Yep
-
If u have will u can kill all the skill 😉😉😉
