IS HALLOWEEN BETTER THAN CHRISTMAS?
-
Yes it fucking is. If anyone says it's not they are fuckign weird
-
@Raye I like Halloween more but I love spooky stuff and dressing up. I still love Christmas but it gives a different feeling. I guess a decision would be made on if you like spooky/creepy vs jolly/wholesome.
-
@Raye I like christmas more tbh . I like the christmas tree and the gregorian chantings , the snow and the stove kinda cozy feeling brings warmth to my heart .
-
I like Halloween best! Being in costume is fun! A chance for people to express themselves.

@Raye wtf hell no. Can't say there's limit to contrast but you can't compare this freaky moronic technicolor yawn to Christmas ugh! If anyone says it is are you hypothalamitically ok? yeah not fan so am fucking weird and supporters ue hypothalamitically crazy I guess? No offence am weird you crazy.
-
@Raye for me Christmas is better than Halloween because Christmas is the season of love , thanksgiving and forgiveness. I love more in Christmas are decorating , giving gifts , songs , movies, and a lots of yummy foods .

Halloween is too much responsibility.
-
@Raye I posted it just for the sake of the meme. I like Halloween. Although never took part.

@Kyle-Norwood so is Christmas

@Raye As a kid I preferred Halloween, but as an adult there's less and less to do in celebration of it.
You can go to a party, but that isn't really celebrating Halloween; it's just doing the same shit you do the rest of the year in a costume (which you have to worry about paying for or making).
There are haunted houses and stuff, but they're short-lived and expensive.
There are movies, but I watch scary movies all year.
The older I get the more I appreciate Christmas.
Not as a time to get stuff, but as a time to focus on people I care about.
Late November/December is when people get a lot of time off, and you're often forced to spend time indoors together.
Plus Christmas has more of the sentimental stuff I appreciate: like the music, or the cakes.
Christmas is a holiday you can really take time to enjoy and think about;
Halloween tends to sneak up on you and be over before you know it.
This might change if I had children, but I suspect not.
Having a family is likely to just make me more of a sentimental sucker, and I'd love to play—I mean, help out Santa.

Hell yea, Halloween is better.
-
@Kyle-Norwood Christmas is much more responsibility.

@Raye NO, and it will never Be. Chirstmas has a religious attachment that is almost worldwide. Halloween, (Samhain is still celebrated today by various groups including Wiccans) it is not globally known or practiced. Also, there is a heavy marketing and profit margins of Christmas, to be made. Halloween is limited, and in some ways, getting smaller. Sad, since I really love Halloween.

@Raye oh, here is another example.. Name 10 dedicated Halloween songs( that is still played on radio), besides movie themes like Michael in Halloween. And now name how many Christmas songs we know. we can easily name over 20 Christmas songs. Marketing pushes whatever they think will make money, and Marketing makes so much money for business at Christmas. It will always be a money maker(santa claus), and a religious celebration (birth of Christ).
