we are being played all the time – in small ways, by most people. lying is normal for most people. anybody who lies to you, when you have a right to know the truth, is kind of playing you for a fool. so it certainly ain't rare. depending on the way you were played it could be a bit more rare, but in general there are enough people around who will do their worst. It's a minority, but it's enough so that everyone will be played eventually. so learn to spot the signs yeah...
