just a thought regarding music

anyone agree on this? i have spent the night listening to some old american top 40 top 100 lists of the 80s. what i realized is this. most of the time, what makes a song is not the artist singing it. it is the background melodies being made or sounds added or echoes. all manufactured in a studio. some exceptions, but not many. then when you see this shit live you get ripped off because they sound NOTHING like on that record you had bought. i beleive every artist should include at least 1 live song on any album! at least then i will have an idea if you can REALLY sing or not!
