Exactly. That's one of the worst feelings, when someone you know decides to "follow the crowd" and become someone different than what you remember.

You cannot upload videos in playable format as of now,
You can upload them to a file hosting site like Dropbox or google drive and share the link.
Or you can upload it to youtube and share that link (YouTube links are playable).
Right now you can upload Audio clips in a playable format by using the button to the left of GIF button,
Your browser does not support the audio element.
and if the audio clip is large enough and you get an error you can upload the audio clip to https://vocaroo.com and share that link.
