Tell your dreams HERE

  • Re: [A topic on dreams](, /topic/14768/a-topic-on-dreams)

So, I used the TWS search bar (which is not something I normally like to do, because I like to live in the moment like a zeitgeist sillyboy), and found there's no generic dream dump section.

    WELL THERE IS NOW.

The nearest thing was an old post by @Zeus-_ and the pooter-ghost gave me a hard time when trying to reply, so here we are.

TELL YOUR DREAMS HERE. I AM FASCINATED. In my experience of talking to other humans, people generally don't like talking about their dreams, or listening to other people's. Which is weird. Because from my point of view, they're like a free acid trip and should be praised as such.

Me, I've written down all my dreams (except the lucid ones) since 2008. I write them down in books, in tiny 6-point block capitals, like the crazy ramblings of a serial killer.

    dreams 2.jpg

And about the lucid dreaming, believe it or not, they can be a bit passe. I'd much rather hear about regular ones. I mean, if you want, I can train you guys up in a separate post, so you can go full-on Inception / Waking Life... but they do tend to be a bit po-faced, and I'm not 100% sure they're good for your mental health. In @Zeus-_ original post, @AstroBambina told of the 'hand' technique, but there's dozens of other (easier) ways of training...

But yeah. TELL YOUR DREAMS HERE. Don't be afraid of anyone using psychoanalysis to figure out your inadequacies, because we're all too cool and friendly for that, right?

  • @Karina-Kara

Kara Krug, every post you make is itchy and countercultural. I LOVE IT. And I just wonder ...will you ever sell out, and get boring, the way everyone does in the end, or are you somehow going to keep it going? Just say yes.

  • TELL ME YOUR METHOD OF INDUCING WAKING DREAMS!
    TELL ME NOW!
    . . .
I used to write the dreams i had down but stopped the moment when i almost only had dreams about death and torture.
Good thing that i burned it.
But your dream diary looks well documented!

  • @cjko
    YES!
    BURN. EVERYTHING. NOW!
One of the most satisfying feelings and sensations you can get is by burning all your problems away. Humans included.

  • @Indrid-Cold
I’m so in agreement with this post. She’s eerie in an amazing way.

  • this is pretty cool. I used to write stuffs about dreams before.. Whenever I have a dream, I write it.
This is therapeutic as well, I used to jot down my anxieties and anguish before, then burn them. It makes you feel light, TRUST me 🙂

  • @Wolfie_11
Now don't you fall in love with me!
    This is the internet afterall...

  • _ @Wolfie_11 @Karina-Kara prepare to throw molotovs, realise liquor has been drunk by @Indrid-Cold and replaced with harmless Panda Pops)_

  • @Indrid-Cold
Only a fool shall waste liquor in Molotovs. The wise knows that liquor belongs at the lips of its holder.

  • Global Veteran Hella Assassins

    I dreamed I met a Galilean,
    a most amazing man.
He had that look you very rarely find,
    the haunting, hunted kind.
I asked him to say just how it started, and how it all began,
I asked him twice, he never said a word,
    as if he hadn't heard.
And next, I dreamed the room was full of wild and angry men,
they seemed to hate this man.
They fell on him and then dissapeared again. And then I heard thousands of millions
    crying for this man,
and then I heard them mentioning my name, and leaving me the blame

Not mine, another quote of course 🙂

  • @Karina-Kara haha including those pictures of someone who caused you pain 😄

  • @Indrid-Cold
How did you know that fire bombs are one my preferred weapons?
Ever since i saw some being thrown in various riots around the world and how they can effectively take down a tank i have fallen in love with them as a child.

  • @Karina-Kara I often wonder this: If you lit a zippo and tied it to a remote control car, and drove it under a real car until it was directly under the petrol tank, would the whole thing explode?

  • @Indrid-Cold
I doubt that the outer fuel tank of a modern vehicle is volatile enough to be ignited.
But attaching an active gas burner to a model car and aiming it at the fuel tank, so that it will melt the outer material will sure cause some environmental damage!

  • @Indrid-Cold Last night I had a dream where I stabbed someone to death! Usually when I kill people in my dreams I do it with my bare hands so that was a good change:)))))

  • @Zen00
I think we have a LOT in common.
    = )

  • @Karina-Kara Then I feel happy and bad for you 😂

  • @Zen00 Stabbing is all the fashion here in the UK. But me, I'd love to be cathartic and uninhibited enough to be able to stab someone in my dreams.

  • @Hmz13 You're right, it's the worst feeling in the world. I find that if you deliberately tire yourself out the following day, then go to bed exhausted, your hypnogogic, pre-sleep state starts giving you flashbacks of the previous night's dreams. I LOVE that frikkin hypnogogic state. But I guess that's another topic for another time...
