Have You Had Any Technical Brainfarts?

I have just been sat sat wandering this....

Have YOU had any Brainfarts with thech in your life?

My example to kick things off is ...
I spent hours and hours trying to download a Digital Copy of a film I bought....
I mean I'm talking on and off for most of Sunday going in to Monday.
I very nearly reinstalled the software used to hold my digital library, when it dawned on me....
OMG you save the files to an external hard disk

At this point I then realized ... :thinking_face: ... The hard disk is not connected to the laptop Numbnut Once connected, surprise surprise.... the film downloaded!

So then .... what Tech things have you you encountered that were not working? that was like something you could not see that was right in front of you all the time???
