To what lengths would you go to impress someone special?

Would you try your best to impress that someone special or just let things happen on their own, do nothing special and see if they like you for what you are?

@wildwallflower as a FEMALE, I would prefer to just let things happen on their own. HAHHA I would even impress them with my bad attitude if I can, and see if they'll still stick with you :)

I've always struggled to impress people. To be real about it I find if I do try to do that I end up being more of an idiot than I already am. So I try just to be myself.
I have found that manners and being polite go along way. And quite often the traditional things like opening doors, pulling up chairs for someone help.What about you? Do you need to try and impress people? ;)

Think the quote on my profile answers this question already, but I can go over it:
"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not."
I shouldn't need to impress someone for them to take interest in me. They either get interested or not. If they don't I won't dwell too much. It wasn't meant to be anyway, so I don't mind much.
Also I naturally do the things @Agent-Peanut mentioned. It's engraved on my manners. I let ppl inside before exiting a place, I pull ppls chairs, I open doors for ppl, etc. That's just the way I am, I do it without thinking! -
@mr-h from what we both said sir, if it’s built into our design then that’s how it is. I have been this was all my life and even through my darkest times I don’t let things impact on the fundamental me. If I did I wouldn’t be me, and I’m sure you would feel them same to.
Even in this world of equality there is nothing wrong with good old fashioned values, manners and politeness.Thumbs up to the real men 👍🏻

Exacly. I don't even see them as old fashioned. I just think that it's part of good manners as I consider myself everything but old fashioned :sweat_smile:

So not used to this!I’ve found ins the past some women don’t like it. For whatever reason they have from their past they just can’t except a man being that way. I did lose a relationship over it many years ago.
