When you wade through all the tripe that people post on here and find some of the questions regading fav things.....
I might be wrong, but a question I have not come across as yet is
What's your fav childhood book or story???
Reasons why would be nice to lol !I have various tbh... but my ultimate has to be Charlotte's Web by E. B. White.
I find this a truly enchanting tale of friendship.... right to the end :)
A remarkable bond between a spider (Charlotte), a spring pig (Wilbur) and a little girl (Fern).
So, what's yours ??? -
My favorite was the Lorax, and not even for the story, I just thought the Lorax was cute
-
@mr_peanut
2 of my favo childhood books- Pinocchio, I guess all knows his story
- The boy who cried wolf
I love the moral lesson of the stories..

As a wee little kid I always liked books like Pat the Bunny, Goodnight Moon, But Not the Hippopotamus, anything by Dr. Seuss, One Morning in Maine, and golden books like The Pokey Little Puppy and Little Red Caboose. Still love them to this day. :) As I got older I liked A Children's Garden of Verses (Robert Louis Stevenson) and abridged versions of classics.

Mine is Gulliver's Travels (Jonathan Swift) and A tale of two cities (Charles Dickens). Classic books but they are still applicable in real life today.
-
@spaceboy I loved that book, still do! :)
-

The Lorax's mustache inspires me

@justchatamy Yea stuff by Dr. Seuss is great stuff. I don't know that much of his work, but I do really love the Cat in the Hat :)
And RLS literature... well thats just timeless -
@bela I like pinocchio... another classic .. ( I love him in Shrek hehe :P ) and the story of the boy is some great foundation work for growing up :)
-
@spaceboy I've never read the little prince, but you are correct for sure with how your understanding of the meanings and content changes over time.
It's amazing of the undertone of some literature that you miss (due to age) but come to realise as time passes 🤔 -
@liliputian1 both great stories... and both timeless .. 😉😉

@DayShifter The Jurassic Park books, they are brilliant I love them more than I can say and the films are brilliant too. I really want a Dino mask...
