Hey :) Im new here but was looking for a place to chat when I'm feeling lonely as well. I used to also be the friend who did all the listening and comforting, without feeling like I was heard or comforted. It seems like most people feel like if you're willing to listen to their problems and comfort them, then it's because you don't have any problems of your own or need any comfort. Or at least no problems you might feel like sharing. But in my case I just never liked discussing my issues because it felt like others would not know understand it. Being empathetic is a real gift, it turns out.

@heyitszoey well, ive been kinda depressed bc my friends have been kinda messed up due to relationships and drama, and I usually get all their problems dumped on me bc I've always been seen as like a best friend that's always there to listen to all their b.s. and lately it's..... Getting retarded
