Really hard to compare these two players. They both are very good players. They have lot of skills and mature playing strategy.
Cristiano Ronaldo :
Positives :
He can run like Usain Bold
His fitness level is incredible.
He can use both legs to kick the ball into long distance. (Many of players fail to do this) here is the video proof
He can play forward position than none other than.
Negatives :
He is short temper person
He is selfish player
He is not very good in passing the ball.
Lionel Andrés Messi :
Positives :
He is also good in running towards the ball/goal.
He is the best fitness man in world. If you see the messi’s leg muscles, You ll know how good he is in fitness level.
He has lot of unique skills, He is really good in tackling. Opposite team need minimum 5player to stop him. but sometimes 5players not enough too.
He has good leadership qualities.
He love to play for the team/country not for he is personal goal.
Negatives :
To be frank I have never seen him any negative.
So mine=Messi

While both of them are great players in their own sense, My personal preference is towards CR7. He surprisingly defy's age and laws of physics. And for me he is best.
