Lost in conversation
-
why do i always feel lost in a conversation. like i dont know what should i talking about or what should i answer to my talking partner, especially when i talk to strangers
-
@tehkotak is that the reason you lurk everywhere, whether it is the saint bobby group or tws?
-
doesn't that mean you are pre occupied by something, btw what does the kardashian means in the tag :p
-
@jynextremist its like i have no idea whats should i answer or ask more so the conversation can fun. for some people they have everything to talk or made up something in conversation but i cant do that. i always end up with one word like oh, nice, lol.
and the kardashan because we have to put atleast 4 tag so we can post topic. and idk what should i tagged, that word just popped up on my mind hahaa -
@jynextremist yes its like im an awkward and not talk active person in front of someone that i dont close to.
-
Its okay bobby.
The trick is to let people talk about themselves.
People love talking about themselves.
All you have to do is make sure you ask some inquisitive questions without being too nosy.
You are not supposed to interrogate the person, just ask them something and when they reply you pick up a point from that answer and you add small something about yourself or ask something which is slightly related to that point.
Build a story around it, and soon you will have inside jokes and a lot of stuff to start conversations with the same person the next time.P.S: It helps if you give nicknames, but you'll have be really cute to stick you version of nickname to them.

hmmm, i wonder if thats the reason i give a new nickname to every person i get close to, and i also happen to have a lot of nicknames, hmmm interesting
-
@laura-anderson yes thats one of the reasons why i lurk everytime ๐
its more me in real life and tws and a little bit in the group hehee -
@lucifer_ my college best friend and me, we call each other machines, and we have been friend for like 7 years now :DD
-
@jynextremist lol if we meet and talk in public and do the weird stuff, i guess people will have atleast 1m distance from us hahaha
-
@jynextremist lol but thats happened to me all the time
-
@tehkotak hmmm, that just means you are not a very talkative person :p
-
@jynextremist Its kind of an involuntary reflex once you get used to it.
Nicknames generate a personal connection with that person makes it easier to communicate.
Its more fun when you nickname sticks deep enough that their friends abandon the nicknames given by them and use your versions. Its hard ending/ forgetting that one person who renamed you for the world, such relationships last a wee bit longer. -
@lucifer_ if on the text i still can thinking what should i say, but if i talk to ppl in real life face to face. i cant be dazed and thinking for a couple second to think right lol
-
@tehkotak oh thats pretty normal, you haven't met me in real life, i also do some pretty weird things :DD
-
@tehkotak In real life all you have to do is use those connective words like ummm
and add a nice smile in between, totally works for girls. -
@lucifer_ work for a pretty girl, thats ain't me hahaa
yes i used that method too smile and pretend like i understand but not at all.. -
@tehkotak lol, yeah that happens sometime with me, when i am grumpy i guess :3
-
@tehkotak well i pass a smile and act clueless, it has worked for me up until now :DD
