If they're open minded then you should just tell them. You shouldn't keep something that important from your parents.

Just be real. Dont even make it cheesy. Youd be surprised, your parents are people too, theyre just as awkward with this shit. Be honest and straightforward, and move on with your lives lol. If theyre open minded like you say, they wont care, they'll love you the same anyway.
