@Equinox33 still, i can understand the damage it can do to easily influenced preteens and young teens using the app, but i don’t really think it’s only TikTok we should blame.
If TikTok didn’t exist, people would just turn to Instagram or some other shit with just as bad of an influenceBut some of us just want an easy app to kill time watching doggos once in a while and TikTok does that too well 😅

After success of tiktok. When indian government see it as threat and banned the app. Instagram and YouTube made their tiktok version in app reels and yt shots. Tiktok showed effective and addictive way to engage audience on their platform and these giants followed it.
Also need to mention it takes a lot users' data. More than insta and yt. ANDDDDD Chinese government can see it any time they want. -

I never had tick tok on my phone, but thanks to youtube shorts I still invest plenty of my mind and time in those tik toxic shorts lol
