Water is kinda very needed thing
IS WATER WET???
-
OKAY, HEAR ME OUT!!! i know this topic has been debated for years, B U T some people say water isn’t wet because it doesn’t have a dry state. this is where hydrophobic water comes in.
i know it’s not 100% H2O and has some fumed silica components, B U T DOES THIS STILL APPLY?? i started wondering because someone in the comments of the youtube video brought it up. it really got me thinking... i don’t really know if water is wet or not but i can see why people think it is not wet. in this case, water is not originally dry to begin with. isn’t this hydrophobic water another way of saying “extremely wet fumed silica”? i have no idea! i’ve been debating ever since i have watched the youtube video..

water does have wetting properties but is it wet ? each liquid water molecule forms hydrogen bods with the n atoms of other H2O molecules thus it could wet other water molecules making the whole thing "wet" but is a single water molecule itself "wet"?
-
@hey_you RIGHT i have heard many people compare it to how something can be on fire but fire itself cannot be on fire because that’s what it is...but at the same time water is not the only thing that makes things wet. any liquid can make solids wet, so that makes me think of another question.. can liquids make other liquids wet??? when some liquids are mixed with water, they are diluted, but what about when the liquids have different densities? for example, oil and water have different densities and do not mix, so does adding water to oil make the oil wet?? does this make the water wet???? if oil makes water wet, then would that mean water is not wet when it’s alone??
-
water is wet because wet things make other things wet, and if water wasn't wet, how would it make things wet?
-
@peepeed420 It is what It is , accept and move one ... who f***** cares ... 🤷♂️

@ĞÖÖŠÍÄĤ GOOD POINT
-
@peepeed420 first time I see a valid point rather than kids telling dumb points to prove water is wet 😂
-
@Sunday_ RIGHT i remember when the discussion used to be so popular everyone would just be like “are you dumb??? of course it is!” and just end the argument with that lmao which is why i never really thought about the topic back then, BUT NOW youtube recommendations have caught my attention
-
@peepeed420 once one of my friends in school threw a glass of water on me and said "see , water is wet that's why you are wet" 😂
-
@Sunday_ OHMYGOSH- BWHAHDJA thats brutal! and pretty funny sorry ahaha that’s one way to end a debate
-
@peepeed420 that's one way to end a debate , yes 😂. No need to say sorry

@peepeed420 Don't just accept everything you watch on YouTube. Most people there're just looking for cheap Internet fame which explains why they'll insist on you liking and subscribing to such stupid videos for instance unknowingly may be aped from other channels on the Tube. I believe you know the 3 atoms that make water appear the way that it is and the truth is that it isn't wet but it wets what it's applied to mostly in its liquid form but with lesser chances in its gas phase or steam unless many of its atoms get into contact with the object like in the liquid form. This is because in this state, the steam is less dense than air and the gas seems to be floating in different directions in the air and not concentrating on getting into contact with the object to make wet. And now for that stupid vid you've got yourself some how deceived, well, let me ask one qtn. If you added some little water to a quarter kg of flour what'd you get? the answer's undoubtedly stickly lol. And would you call it dry water? No. It's a stupid reaction and surely you'll need to get your ass disciplined for that if you insisted it's dry water. Now for this case, this guy adds new components to water which is a crystalline composed of silicon and 2 atoms of oxygen which is good coz he's adding more oxygen to the ones in water but this is where it ceases to become water because silicon's been added and the atoms are quite mixed up which reveals the outcome of what he was convincing you it's dry water. What a faggot.
-
@peepeed420 so do you think liquid thingy is not wet? 🤔
Hm, water is not wet, it is solid 😏 -
@Cold-Sun woahhhh thank you for the information and advice!!
-
@AllAboutGay you are so right! does this mean the h in h2o stands for homo?
-
@peepeed420 Nitty-Gritty
-
@peepeed420 water is clearly wet broooo, the ppl that say it isn't are probably flat earthers
-
damn made my head hurt xD
-
water has wetting properties, but is it wet? :relaxed:

@Zidane-T BWHAHSD i’m sorryyyyyyyyy
