• Yesterday it was my solemn duty to drive some relatives to a horse sanctuary open day. I didn't mind. It was a fun day out.

But it was full of young girls. Why do girls like horses so much? It's a cliche but it's true, isn't it?

    <--- That's my 'gallop' poll.

  • @Indrid-Cold Whenever as a kid I used to watch any disney movie, most of them had a loyal horse in it thus falling in love with them was easier due to their lovable character; reading black beauty added to the said love for them. The introduction of unicorns(who practically drove every other girl crazy, I mean who doesn't love a good fantasy tale) was another milestone. Not loving them thus seems like a difficult thing..they're loyal, strong, lively and what not!

  • @Anastasia-Smith Loyalty is essential. I can imagine a girl telling a horse, "Look, m8, it's the 21st century, I can do my own hunting-and-gathering, I just need you to be loyal" -- and the horse stamps his hoof to show he understands.

I like unicorns, too. I keep seeing them because I'm a replicant.

    🤣🤣😂😂

  • @Anastasia-Smith Oh man! I just got dragged to (get this) Unicorn-A-Palooza here, yesterday. I'm not kidding! What a day. Highlights include, but are not limited to: Tinkerbell flirting with me, rubbing herself against me suggestively, while softly giggling in my ear. Had my inner 6 year old's heart bursting. Two stunning Fairies, Fawn (or maybe Faun?) and Blossom, who had blossomed quite incredibly, truth be told. Several bikini (topped) mermaids who "maid" my day. Oh, yeah. Horses (unicorns) too , sure, and girls. Girls like horses.

  • @Lazz LSD = Just say, 'Yes'.

  • @Indrid-Cold Been there, done that. Years ago. Attempted to watch the movie Beetlejuice in a theater with friends while we were all "under the influence." Not the sanest decision I've ever made. To this day, still can't watch that movie. Oh, the stories I could tell about that experience...

  • @Lazz (jealousy)

  • @Indrid-Cold Don't be (jealous). Those experiences were really not "all that." Interesting, to a point, often scary, and way too long lasting. These days you could enjoy similar with Virtual Reality, and not wipe out nearly as many active brain cells. Or have to suffer through a "bad trip" unless you program yourself one. ~Lazz

  • Seriously, I had always thought that "thing" between girls and horses had to do with...stimulation. At least in part. Similar to how and why women sit on the washing machine when doing laundry.

  • Don't know why I love horses but I do it since childhood. Once I tried pony riding and then I started visiting various farms to ride them and then horses. Now I'm an adult and I'm considering renting a horse farm ocalahorsefarms.realty/ocala-horse-farms-for-rent/. It's quite a difficult undertaking which demands much time and resources but I really want it.
