    Bacause you keep doing an old habit of yours, assuming what others are/know/think without actually getting to know about it.

    I'm not assuming anything buddy, I already know you.

    Ignorance is bliss indeed :ok_hand:

    I guess that's why you preferred to assume that moving planets is a better solution than fixing the problems we caused 🤷‍

    Why is that?

  • @Zen00 our activities on Earth greatly affect the distribution of weather patterns..

  • @Lurker said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    Or maybe it's a: - Let's try to learn with our mistakes and preserve earth as it is, so we can make it a better place for who still live here and make it more natural the transition to the "next planet"!

    That is exactly why NASA spends billions on its Space Exploration Missions to find planets in Goldilocks Zones!

    And they are not even a little bit close to finding a viable alternative, closest we come is Titan not Thanos's titan, the moon of Saturn "Titan".

    @Zen00 said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    In case you haven't noticed, we are summersaulting into a path of self destruction and so far the only solution people are willing to take on is moving to Mars.

    What if we screwed up Mars first and then sent a pod to Earth with just bacteria in hopes that they won't screw up Earth!!

  • @cjko said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    @Zen00 true..

    I think humans are also responsible to the climate change..

    Humans are the only reason for abnormal level of climate change!
    United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its 4th report clearly states that

    "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal", and "most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations."

    @Lurker said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    I'm not against you I just think alone nothing can be done and there isn't enough ppl that care enough, there's too much money involved!

    @Zen00 said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    Sadly, money is the center cause to almost all of the problems we face.

    Actually it is a money thing!

    in 2012 196 countries agreed that climate change is man made and we have to do something to stop it, so they came together in Paris and signed "The Paris Agreement"

    The Paris Agreement's long-term goal is to keep the increase in global average temperature to well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels; and to limit the increase to 1.5 °C, since this would substantially reduce the risks and effects of climate change.

    And right now the temperature has already increased by 1 °C as compared to pre-industrial levels.

    So what room we have is of 0.5 °C .

    But here's the best part!

    The countries agreed to reduce greenhouse gases and reduce pollution but couldn't agree on who would reduce how much of it.

    So they all decided each one should do its best and they submitted what they called as "INDC = Intended Nationally Determined Contribution" and they stated measures as to how much of the emission will they cut, and how will they cut it and how they will reduce dependency on fossil fuels and move on to renewable sources of energy!

    Sounds nice right!

    but here's the thing, even if all the countries do what they have promised the temperature rise will not stop below 1.5 °C . It will stop short of 2 °C, but it will cross 1.5 °C. and the effects of that will be catastrophic just like @Zen00 mentioned.

    And here's the more funny part!

    Countries are going back on even that!

    US has officially withdrawn from Paris accords claiming that climate change is a hoax, the only other countries who haven't signed it are Syria and North Korea :face_with_rolling_eyes: .

    US did it to protect its oil and coal industries.

    At the same time the all the Developing nations and SIDS = Small Island Developing States made their INDC's on the promise that Developed Countries will help them financially and with technology transfers, but none of that is happening anytime soon, because its a lot of money (100 billion $ fund was promised!!).

    So even if we pull a miracle and stop the temperature rise inside 1.5 °C , there will be a lot of death and destruction, millions will die of pollution, starvation, famines. And millions more will become refugees due to loss of their homeland.

    Either way its going to be one hell of a ride!

    I know we have a great affect on it, but it has been happening before we were here so I guess I didn't want us to also be the blame of that. But you are right, gosh, humans suck!!😂

  • Well, one thing's for sure. When they inevitably reboot Seaquest DSV, //Zen00 should definitely get the gig making the 'eco' speech at the end of every episode.

  • @Zen00 humanity is soo sad :(

  • Gamers

    @Zen00 well, the whole Earth will be burned by Sun at last, good news innit?

  • 😱😱😱😱😨😰😵

  • @Zen00 Wow I’m shocked that you would preach like that & tell people what & who they should care about. Climate control is a scam. It’s about taxing people & taking more control & power over people. The earths temperatures change constantly & to not know that is insane. Should we make sure we don’t pollute & ruin the Oceams. Of course. But our Coubtry is one of a few that follow the rules. Other countries pollute like crazy. You need to look into these bogus studies about Temperatures increasing. You need to look at the politics behind it.

  • @Zen00 I seen the article you read & they took their data from only 30 yrs. The earth has been here millions of years. What caused the Ice Age? Why did it get so cold ? It happened .& NO ONE knows why. Then after the Ice age it got warmer. How did it get warmer? There was no one here causing pollution. But it happened. It got warmer. Don’t let politicians scare you. They just want control over your life & most important. Your money.

    So from this I’m assuming you don’t believe in global warming? So let’s say global warming is really a hoax (although there is evidence that human emitted pollution is GREATLY responsible for it already) what’s the worse thing that’ll happen?
    We’ll replace fossil energy into renewable energy like solar for nothing?
    We’ll have helped cleaned tte océan of the millions and millions of tons of plastic in it for nothing?
    We’ll have slowed down the tremendous speed of deforestation eating away 27 soccer fields of forests a minute for nothing?

    Shït won’t just go away if we just stand by and let it pass like the Ice Age. (Also we’re talking about record increases of temperature through the past year, shït didn’t go downhill this fast back then) We’re responsible for this shït and we have only one home, might as well do something to make it last for as long as possible, eh?

  • @WtfJudith you speak like the rest of the politicians. So how do you replace fossil fuel. Get rid of every car on the road & buy electric cars that the avg family can’t afford. Who pays to have the infrastructure for electric cars. Your in Canada. Can you keep the batteries warm enough. How do electric plants make their electricity? Do you know ? People don’t want nuclear energy & that’s clean. They don’t want wind turbines put out in the Oceans or waterways. Of course I want the planet clean. I think everyone does. But there are NO real answers unless it is affordable to do. You people who call for green this & that have no answers. Just like the 5000 polar bears that disappeared according to Al Gores movie. Oh wait it was a satellite glitch that lost them. Their still alive. In the USA the rules are strict about polluting the water. So who’s going to tell China & India to stop their pollution of the air & water ? Are you gonna do it ? It’s always up to the US to fix everything. Why is that ?

  • @WtfJudith I didn’t say we didn’t give off carbon. I said we were following the rules & you posted stats from 2015. The US had cut omissions every year. Don’t twist stuff around.

  • @Zen00 if you listen to all these people who preach this. They said we would be done already if things didn’t change. We are still here . It’s great that you care & im glad you do. But don’t let them scare you into not enjoying your life or feeling guilty.

    31,000 scientists say "no convincing evidence".
    31,000 scientists reject global warming and say "no convincing evidence" that humans can or will cause global warming? But polls show that of scientists working in the field of climate science, and publishing papers on the topic: 97% of the climate scientists surveyed believe “global average temperatures have increased” during the past century; and 97% think human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures. What is the significance of these statistics?
    31,000 scientists say "no convincing evidence".
    Scientific Consensus on Global Warming

    While polls of scientists actively working in the filed of climate science indicate strong general agreement that Earth is warming and human activity is a significant factor, 31,000 scientists say there is "no convincing evidence" that humans can or will cause "catastrophic" heating of the atmosphere.
    This claim originates from the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, which has an online petition (petitionproject.org) that states:

  • @Sara-f

    Iss dat true? 🤔
